The talk of the town!
Ronny Matthes is the editor and writer for this year's Berlin Gay Guide and the book is one of the finest annual guides Bruno Gmuender has published. In addition to being the ultimate resource for shopping, dining, clubbing, hotels, and sightseeing in Berlin, this book is full of history of famous people for Berlin’s past (Christopher Isherwood for example), history of the culture, the political and social changes that have occurred in the past century.Yes, there are photographs and artwork that show the haunts and domains and shenanigans of the gay populace, and everything is clearly defined – maps, tables, rates, exchange etc.The book is in both German and English – each language sharing apposing pages so that more are and photos are available. For the traveler who wants to get to know Berlin, or the seasoned traveler who needs to know the current ‘best places’, this little pocket sized book is a must. Grady Harp, July 16
