We always used the curved blade sickle bars, they were old and I thought I was only going to be able to replace them at an antique shop! Although after doing some research, I found these and I wasn't sure how they would work! With that in mind I gave them a shot and they have been a blessing! They are sturdy, have multiple different uses, from cutting down grass, weeds, dead heading flowers and more! The serrated blade is a dream and makes cutting down things with ease! Greta value for your money! Nice size & weight to fit in your pocket and an all around great tool!

Very sharp, so be careful. Cuts down ornamental grasses easily in spring. Would be easier to hold if handle had some shaping to it.

This sucker cuts through wood nicely! Just not straight as I would like it, but then again I'm not using it for what it's made for so I guess this review is only useful for entertainment purposes only! Lol! 😂

I have a smaller version of this tool. I decided to great one with a larger blade for a larger sod cutting project. However, this blade is simply not as strong nor firm as the smaller bladed tool. It's still useful but I expect the blade to eventually bend and distort. If they reconfigure with a stronger blade, it's a five star item.

This is an absolute garden must have. It makes cutting things down so much easier.

Better than clippers when clearing end of summer flowers such as daisies or hostas.
