This has become a staple in our kitchen and a regular reorder. The coarse flakes have a clean, pure taste that really enhances food without being overly salty. Taste is excellent, clean and pure and tested negative for heavy metal contamination which is the main reason I buy it...despite being a bit pricey. It costs what it costs and I'm ok with that because of the quality.

We stumbled upon this salt because of Lead Safe Mama/Tamara Rubin’s independent testing for heavy metals in salt.There are currently only 2 other salts on the market that she has found to have no heavy metals just like Jacobsen’s Sea Salt from Oregon.With there being so few salts low in heavy metals, I was concerned I wouldn’t like this salt due to lack of options. Fortunately this has been a good addition in our home. It tastes nice and the larger texture makes it easy to oversalt things, however sometimes that’s a good thing. We have a lot of salt lovers in our home who enjoyed really tasting it and the larger texture helps. We will be buying again.

I plan to continue purchasing this salt as long as I can afford it. When salt is the only seasoning you use, the taste is really noticeable. It's also wonderful to know that this salt has some of the lowest levels of lead and other heavy metals, compared to other brands. I saw one reviewer complained about finding a dead spider in their salt. I'd rather not have a spider in my salt at all, but I would much rather have a dead spider in my soul than heavy metals. The salt is a keeper. 🕷️💖🧂

Absolutely love this salt. What a great change. I love how it's not fine sand like salt. The taste is so much better. Definitely worth the price. Lead free, healthy salt version. Highly recommended

Love this salt. Only salt we use for my toddler knowing it’s approved to be low heavy metals but it’s much cheaper buying it directly on the website which is why I gave it 4 stars. Ended up just going and buying a 4 pack on the Jacobson website. Overall great salt though we love it
