The Thunder Tumbler seems sturdy and well constructed. It works on both carpet and hardwood floors. It is very fast especially on the hardwood. It seems to work better for doing stunts, spins and other maneuvers than moving in a straight direction or racing on a track. However, it may be that it just takes some time to get used to working the controls. The controller and car seem to pair very well with no lag in the control. Also, the teal one is super cute in a subtle way with small flower details on both sides. Great for a girl without being over the top. Both the car and the controller have glowing red lights when they are on. Please note that the car requires 4 AA batteries and the controller requires 1 9V battery which are not included. Also, it is marked for ages 6+ so the battery compartments are not very secure like toddler and baby toys. We have just started using it so I can’t speak to longevity but so far it’s a very fun toy.

Affordable and very durable. This thing has crashed into and fallen off of all types of surface but still runs like new...which is perfect because my 2 kids aren't the gentlest with it. The only issue I have is that sometimes, depending on where the RC car and remote are physically located, the signal gets weak and then cuts out. I know it's not the most advanced toy but I was under the assumption that as long as both devices were in the same room there wouldn't be any issue. Other then that...no complaints

We bought these for multiple kids. The yellow ones are obvious knock-offs and ruined Christmas.They are smaller, cheaper looking, and drive very differently than the blue, red, and black cars.This advertisement is false. Go to Walmart, they are cheaper and have the real thing.

The remote handheld device needed to be within a few inches to have any response. Looked closely and discovered the handheld operated on 49 mhz and the car responds to 27 mhz. Wrong signal. Returned the car as it useless with no control. Called the manufacturer and they said call Amazon. Called Amazon and they said call the manufacturer. Returned and received refund. Disappointed grandchildren.

It’s really good toy for the price Unbeatable deal works pretty good I like about it That you don’t have to Flip it once it turns over it flips it self back on the wheels this little car is pretty fast for a distance of the remote control If you want to play in living room Or your room or even outside it works well !!

I use this to chase my dog and he loves it. I had an issue with the batteries on the car not being held in place tight enough to keep power. I ended up folding some paper and putting it under the flaps that hold the battery in place and haven’t had any issues since.

Absolutely horrible product. My 4 year old was so excited to open this for his birthday. He used it 5 minutes and it no longer worked. We tried everything to fix it. He was so upset. Amazon use to sell great products, now it seems like they let anything sell. So disappointing!!!

The battery pack doesn’t fit into the car properly, so every little bump turns it off. My son used it two hours and was ready to throw it away out of frustration. It is defective, poorly made, and a waste of money.
