I almost feel badly about writing this review. You may be late to work or school. You may flake on friends and family just to stay in bed. You may find yourself very distracted because all you can do is think about jumping in bed. Honestly, if you order this topper you will never want to get out of bed again. I have a nice relatively new mattress. The mattress itself wasn’t soft enough for me. I want to sleep in marshmallow clouds. Purchasing a new mattress is not an option. I spent hours upon hours researching and reading reviews and googling etc. This is not an easy decision. We spend many hours sleeping in bed so it’s got to be perfect. THIS is the ONE. This topper is affordable and was delivered promptly. This is a magical topper. The ONLY thing I would say is that IF you’re one of those that cannot sleep if hot and you’re wanting to purchase a topper to be “cooler,” I would not recommend. If you need a cooler temperature I would look for something very specific that says cooler. I love this topper and everything about it and it’s absolutely perfect for me. I actually want to go take a nap right now.

Love this BedStory 3 Inch Mattress Topper Dual-Layer, Queen Size Pillow Top & Gel Memory Foam Bed Toppers ! I was looking for something to put on my firm mattress without having to go buy another mattress. I have been experiencing a lot of muscle, joint and neck pain. I would wake up and be miserable. I saw this product and thought this may be something worth checking into.There are (2) separate pieces. Memory foam topper + a pillow top cover. I have used these the last couple of nights and I will definitely say I wake up throughly rested and no tossing and turning throughout the night. YES YES YES, finally can say I am having the best sleep Ever....this has done the trick. Highly recommend this product.

I was looking for a foam mattress topper that was neither too thin nor too thick. This one seemed ideal with the additional pillow topper. I received it within 48 hours of purchasing it. I followed the directions, putting it on top of my mattress to allow it to expand. The smell of the foam was not too bad and it diminished over the day and is now gone. The feel of it is very nice! It has immediately improved my sleep. I feel physically better in the morning and also I'm not being awoken by my arm or leg having fallen asleep, so it is reducing pressure points and leaving my body in a good geometry. I have slept on thicker foam toppers before, but this 2-inch one seems exactly right for a person of average weight.

The only thing that i do not like is the fact it says it has that cooling factor so u don't get hot at night. Well i am sweating have the night. To me it keeps the heat in. But overall it is good for me as i have a lot of body health issues

While it is comfy, and I’m happy with the purchase, the foam itself is 2in thick, but the quilted section is maybe a 1/2 in. It is not 2 in. I left it sitting untouched for the recommended 48hrs and it never puffed up, while the memory foam part did immediately. So all together it is 2 1/2 in thick in total.

This topper changed my hard matress into a dreamy place. I am so glad I purchased this. Like other reviewers it has helped with my sleep, hip pain and numbness in hands and arms from being a side sleeper. What a great solution if you cannot afford to get a new luxury bed and or have a nice bed but it’s just not comfortable enough for you. I think the topper sheet is a nice touch. Only issue is that it has a slight discoloration around the foam when I opened it. If it was not COVID I would have returned it but after some consideration I kept it and fingers crossed it’s just from sitting in the package and not something that will affect us like mold or mildew. It did not smell and the washable cover goes over the foam so I don’t see the discoloration. Super happy with this product otherwise!

Awesome product! Shipping was very fast. The topper was packaged and vacuum sealed very well. Very comfy and nice. Would definitely recommend it 10/10

OK, so our son had been cosleeping for a little longer than he probably should have and complained about sleeping in his own room for various reasons. We went on vacation and he slept in his own assigned bed and when I asked what was different he said the bed is so comfy! I looked at the bed and it had a pillow top mattress. I wasn’t gonna buy wholenew mattress but figured something like this was worth a try. After coming through reviews I settled on this one for the combo of a foam topper and a pillow top cover.Here’s the good and the bad.Pros:-Feels like the luxury pillow top mattress in our timeshare. Son was oh so pleased and he sleeps in his bed now!-Foam is about 2”, pillow top is near there, good enough for me. You can’t feel the mattress underneath at all.-Price is relative to the upgrade you get. You don’t have to lug in a whole new mattress and can test this out before taking the plunge on a new mattress. Especially useful for kids.Cons:-Slides a little on the mattress. If you’ve ever had a foam topper you know this can be an issue. Especially with kids that slide around and go on and off the bed multiple times a day with no regard.-Didn’t fit into the mattress protector we currently have and we don’t have a deep mattress.-Not sure if the pillow top cover will protect against spills. I hope it does because we often have some juice in bed. Just being honest, my kid snacks on the bed - just in case yours does too (or you do!).-Does have a slight smell. My son said “it smells like car gasoline!”Will update if this goes flat immediately or otherwise fails to meet our needs. Otherwise we are happy for now.Update: So cozy I came back and bought a second one for my bed! I actually think this works better on firmer beds though (and oddly enough). My bed doesn’t feel as cloud like but still amazing!!

very comfy ,soft ,had a great night sleep and all but it had... well bedbugs in it . even one was embedded in the plastic bag that the matress came with.... got a full refund and apologies from amazon. im happy it was resolve very quickly and amazon rep where very usefull and understanding and did way more then i expected but still,be warned and check the bags and box the stuff comes with to check if you have ... unwanted visitors...

Product is as advertised. Amazon's packing was awkward, not sure what that itty bitty piece of paper was to do for the packaging.After I wrestled it out of the box, I moved it into the spare bedroom so it could relax and pouf up. The second picture shows just after I had unwrapped and unfolded it completely.In a matter of 2 to 3 hours it had poufed to it's correct thickness and size.I've been sleeping on it for 2 days now and I'm feeling more rested, (granted my previous memory foam was over 10 years old; no wonder I was so tired) Still having issues falling asleep, but that's me and not the product.I'm quite happy with it. It's a much firmer topper than what I had or expected. It gives the impression of being incredibly dense.I'm happy with my purchase and I would likely purchase it again if need be.

Much too soft for me and my partner. We felt like we were sinking through to our uncomfortable hard mattress and it just made it harder to get off the bed. Also the topper smelled so strongly of chemicals I was getting headaches and a bad taste in my mouth. It was so bad we sent it back asap. Which was a difficult process because it had been vacuum packed into the package and was very heavy to lift.

Ordered this topper for my new bed which is actually only about a year old. But I was finding that I was waking up with back pain from my new bed. It arrived quickly. Box was huge and heavy and awkward for one person, even with it being compressed. It was compressed, super heavy. Looked no bigger than a kitchen sink rug. I kept checking the size tag to make sure they sent me the queen size I ordered. Then I realized it was also not only super shrunk but it was folded over on itself so it looked like a twin size. Laid it out and grew it in my spare room for two days and two nights before I moved it onto my bed. I was shocked when the next day after work I went into my spare room and saw this monster laying there when it was merely a flat rug the day before. Moved it to my bed, again, super heavy and awkward but super thick. Knocked a few pictures off the hallway wall trying to get it down the hallway myself. I find it squishy but it bounces back when you get up. It doesn't move at all on top of my new bed. It's comfy, I'm not waking up with a sore back anymore although it's a bit to turn over during the night because you sink pretty deep. But not uncomfortably deep. My 100 pound lab mix sure likes sleeping next to me as well. I would absolutely recommend this topper. Just be sure to fully grow it for a couple of days and nights before you start using it. The small bit of off smell dissipated within the first couple of days. The seller also contacted me as soon as it was received to see if all was well. Good business ethic.

This is a product I didn’t know I needed until I bought it. I sleep so much better and I’ve noticed I don’t have as much stiffness in my back and knees during the day. I got the 3 inch, but I probably could have gotten away with the 2 inch because it is quite thick. But it has held up very well in the 6 or so months that I’ve had it.Update: This mattress certainly made my bed softer and more comfortable, but recently I’ve noticed that I am so warm at night. In the middle of January we have been sleeping with the window wide open and heat off. I finally concluded it must be the mattress and pulled the sheets off of it last night. Where our bodies were was very warm to the touch, so I would now say that the mattress absorbs your body heat and does not release it very well, making for a sleep that’s too warm.
