I'm glad this product exists. For charging with a Tesla UMC and other EVSEs that have swappable ends, adapting TT-30 to NEMA 14-30 rather that 14-50 is the right way to connect to a TT-30, and I wish more companies would offer this option in addition to 14-50.But:* The QA on this product is awful. The first one I received was filthy (covered in black marks) and was missing a large chunk of rubber from the insulation. There probably wasn't enough missing for it to be a safely hazard, but it sure didn't help my confidence in the product, and I expect better from a product sold as "new". The replacement had one end attached 45° sideways– it'd work, but again, this is just sloppy work.* This thing is absurdly heavy and thick. Looks like they used 6AWG cable. 10AWG is all you need for 30A.So, both of these got sent back. I'll settle for a 14-50 adaptor that costs less and hopefully wastes less space in my trunk.

I drive 2023 Tesla Model Y and we camp in our class A motorhome at RV park often. We always get 50amp site and wanted to charge our car while settling for the night. We also bought 30 amp extension cord, and Tesla genuine Gen 2 NEMA 14-30 adopter. Works great!

This adapter worked perfectly for charging my Tesla M3 at a site with electricity. I have a NEMA 14-30 adapter for my mobile Tesla connecter for charging at home. With this adapter I could then plug into the 30 amp plug at the campsite. Then leave the site the next day with a full charge.
