Double Sided Rug Tape - Heavy Duty Double Sided Carpet Tape for Area Rugs

This tape is very easy to use and it works! I measured and cut the tape and put the stick side on the back of the rug and then pulled the pulled the protective side along as I placed the rug onto my hardwood floor. Been about 2 weeks and it is firmly in place. I put the tape to the end of the corners and they haven't curled up yet either. Time will tell. Would definitely purchase it again. Hopeful that it won't damage my floor as the description states it is safe on hardwood.

I bought rubber-backed stair treads for my hardwood stairs because my older dog started having trouble navigating the bare steps and slipped a few times. The treads were okay but did move a bit and I had to keep adjusting them. I didn't feel they were secure enough so I bought this rug tape. I cut and placed two strips on each tread, front and back edges as recommended. The tape is very sticky but if you take your time, it is easy to work with. It stuck very well on the rubber backing and on the step and after pushing on and rubbing the tread a bit on the step, it was quite secure. Since I only used this about a week ago, I can't speak to whether the stickiness will hold up over time. It says there is no residue if you remove the tape but it is not a concern because I have decided to always keep treads on the stairs for safety. My dog is much more comfortable/confident going up and down the stairs so I am happy with the results.

Very sticky on both sides. I put the tape on each end and the middle of a rug runner on top of a non pile rug and it kept it in place for a few days and then it started to come off. It’s better than anything else I’ve found though.

I was a little worried when this arrived. It had nothing to do with the delivery because it was great. It was how the tape looked... something wasn't quite right 🤔 Well, I taped the first rug that always constantly moving as for the reason to purchase rug tape. Putting it on gave me pulse... thinking 🤔 this is not going to hold up. Well, turns out I was completely wrong. This stuff really works as it is described. The rug has not moved at all. Therefore, the rest of the rugs are being taped down. I would recommend this product to my family members and friends alike. Finally, the attached images were taken a couple days apart.

It does a pretty good job of keeping the rug in its place and when I have to pull the rug up and wash it then the tape comes up without any residue left behind and this is on a hardwood floor.

Extremely difficult to remove from without it wrinkling to the point it is no longer useful.

I was worried this wouldn't work because I wanted to put it on carpet but it sticks to carpet amazingly but doesn't stick to the rug. It also leaves residue, so it won't stick in place but it will remain sticky. Creates a mess and still have a rug that moves.
