I've had this unit for 6 months. Today the sealer strip started to smoke and had a couple of hot spots. I messaged the company from their website and they're sending a replacement. The process was pretty smooth.I'm still giving this unit a five-star review because for the price it performs very well and the warranty is a full 12 months.Before this buying this sealer we had purchase several of the big brand food sealers over the course of 6 years. Even at Costco those units were over $100. The more expensive price tag did not improve their quality because we replaced every single unit after 2 years.We picked up the Megaswise sealer for 20 something bucks and if I have to buy a new one every year, I'd still come out ahead.

Vacuum sealers are a must for saving money..It just plain stupid to not take advantage of bulk pricing and seal specific items.This will pay for itself within two monthsI don’t use my vacuum sealers for any liquids,,so can’t be honest on this machines capacity on that.Strictly meats and fish and non crushable dry foods I vacuum seal in bags only.I always partially freeze all the fresh items I seal and use the general sealer probably daily.This is great compact lowered price,, good quality sealer.For basic needs this is awesomeMeats,, frozen veggies all seal and hold well.Use for dry cat and dog food..reseal all my chips and snacks ,,,almost always in original packaging ,,they last for week'sThe item was as described,,delivered and packaging as well.

FELT VAC SEAL INSULATION FOAM BAND FELL OUT SO EASILY & I tried gluing it back on but it was in line properly, then some of it rippef when i tried to take it off to readjust... it was noob of me but it whouldnt have just fell out so fast a month or two in, arter buying i on amazon..... i tried reaching out to company but they never got back to me.I am reluctantly giving a 4 of 5 star reading because I really like this machine... i may buy another one but be careful... if the foam comes out be careful how you fix it.Im so dissapointed that I was ignored and not at least given a new foam liner.. I need it for ebay and food so im just buying another one since its affordable... wish I could give it like 2 or maybe 3 stars.... but I liked it a lot...I've had a couple others before in this one has various settings for how wet or moist to the contents in the bag are, the cutter is on top and it seemed to work really well for the first month or two.I was using it somewhat frequently for food as well as for items I sold online & had to fit in shipping container... but it just wasn't enough times for any issues to be understandable. So why did the foam suddenly detach and partially fall off? Bad glue? Faulty unit?Reattach tips:If the foam loop (that is attached to the top and when lid closed, seals the airtight area) falls off and uou need to reattach the foam air sealer loop...here's tips to avoid what I did.You have to set it in the **bottom** groove where it goes when you shut the lid... not where it fell off of.. to glue it back properlyotherwise it cant air seal properly and its too hard to align it with the indented track it goes in on the bottom once lid is closeed.... make sure it doesn't rip ANYWHERE, set it in the groove/track shaped just like it on bottom (inside w lid open).. carefully put glue on top of it without putting too much, it cant overflow!

This unit seals bags really well when it works properly. This is the 4th different unit from various manufacturers I've purchased from Amazon and this one is the best by far. This one lasted nearly a year of off and on use until I had an issue with it. I use it to store extra meat and cheese so that I can stretch my grocery dollar. I cannot say enough nice things about their customer service. Joy from support was very patient as she troubleshot an issue where the unit was burning holes in the sealer bags. Awaiting a replacement part to hopefully get the unit up and running again.

I love how easy this product is to use—it’s quick and efficient! The other day, I noticed my food sealer wasn’t working properly. It would vacuum the air out, but then started pulling air back into the bag. I reached out to customer support, and they responded quickly and offered to send me a replacement. Great service!

Everything works as advertised. My only complaint is that when I'm doing large batches over 5-10 bags in a row, I am forced to wait a few extra seconds between each vacuum seal. My guess is that there is a timer to allow the heating element to cool and not get overworked. Honestly, it's not really that big of a deal.

Update, I origanily highly recommened this thing but after using maybe a dozen times it let me down today. I put my burger in the bag, about 1.75 inches between seal and food, closed it down and vac sealed, it didnt seem to vacuum out as much as last time and after it said it was sealed I removed and it started filling with air. I tried a few times then opened a new thing of bags and same issue I even just sealed and put water in and it leaked through a couple seal spots. I keep this thing clean and is stored in its box, failed on the 12th use. 2 stars for the first 12 times it did work

Good product! It does what it should. I had an issue with my first unit after probably 10 uses. I contacted the company and they sent me out a new one in less than a week. Great customer service. I will say the bag cutter does not work great but other than that it’s solid for the price!
