This one-man band from Hawaii is back with his 1st studio album in over a year. This album will remind the listener of Nine Inch Nails, Sister Machine Gun and Chemlab with it's aggressive hybrid of guitars and electronics. Highlights include "Overflow," "Forlorn (Forsaken)," "What's Fair? (Frustration)" and much more.

Razed In Black Rocks
This is the second time I have bought this CD. While I have had all of RiB's CD's over the years, moving them from one place to another, I happened to have misplaced this one. I saw it on Amazon for a fraction of the cost, and I had the urge to buy it again. After listening to it again, it was worth the money to replace the original copy that is hopelessly lost in my basement some where. Romell Regulacion is the master mind of RiBs music which combines elements of industrial, synth-pop, darkwave, gothic rock, and hardcore music. He has written and performed music for a number of compilation CDs, movies, and TV shows. He is a very talented writer and musician. He writes, plays and is the vocals behind RIB. Overflow is his second RiB CD. I love this band. The music and lyrics are dark, and the music has a driving beat. I have only one complaint about RiB, it is that they dont make enough albums. I wish they were like other artist, and cut a new one every year. This one is from 1997, and its as great as I remember it to be back then. I think they have influenced many artists in the Industrial Music world, and RiB remains one of my favorite bands..as I wait from year to year for Romell to create another full CD of new music :) Oh...the torture. :)

Satisfied. There's nothing like a smooth tranny.
if you've got at least 25 piercings, not less than 75% of your body covered in tattoos, like to dress in black and have a natural impulse to use razors improperly, you're probably going to love this band.I am none of those things, but I still think this music is great. It's kind of like heavy metal/industrial/house music.

Loved Every F**king Second
From the start this album is very dark and has a sound that only Razed In Black could summon. There sound could be compared to Nine Inch Nails but that would be way to cliche. The whole album keeps you wraped up in it's grip untill the very end. Track 3 is my favorite because of the dark Techno beats and for the "Soft But Brutal" vocals. Even though this is a Remix CD it is still very well composed and brings your mind to the brink of madness in everything that it is.

An excellent CD
If you like Razed in Black or even if you don't, you should get this CD. Kicking things off with the title track, this CD is solid all the way through to the end track, Future Unknown, which is my favorite song on this CD and one of my favorite Razed in Black songs. My one complaint about this album: too short.
