BUDGET MACHINE!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My recommendation to you is this… if you re after a compact pc the can deliver stunning visuals …smoothly handlies your streaming or downloaded content well along with daily tasks likedocumment processing , browsing and surfing then this is beyond a great budget option for you. And it will preform this tasks with ease! This PC is perfect for use in a home office for such things as light gaming , general email browsing, internet surfing and document processing. But id tread lightly when trying to push it any further then that. If your hoping this is going to be your go to device for high end processing tasks like video editing or hardcore gaming, its obviously going to struggle but with what your getting out the box your still able to preform most tasks a high mid range laptop could. Please watch my attached video. if this video helped please don't forget to give it a thumbs up!

Compact & Powerful
I purchased this to be my all singing and dancing media centre connected to my TV.Looking at the spec to price ratio I took the plunge and went for this. The PC itself has a smooth and sleek design with its matte finish and its bronze coloured vents that run round.Set up was quick and simple to set up and can be connected to a wide variety of outputs so however you choose to use it their should be a way.The PC sports Windows 10 operating system which runs smoothly using its Intel Celeron Processor and 4gb RAM.All your regular tasks such as web browsing, streaming and playing music/video all run smoothly without any issues especially if you take advantage of its 4K capabilities it looks stunning. The PC comes with 32gb of memory which can be expanded using the expansion box which simple clips into place underneath the PC which is a really neat and handy feature.I have used the PC for a couple of hours each day now and so far the integrated cooling fan is quite and keeps the PC at a cool temperature so im not worried about overheating causing any performance issues as yet.If your looking for an all singing and dancing entertainment system that looks the part, performs like a PC and don't want to break the bank look no further. Highly recommended.

Quite a competent little PC
Quite impressed with this little PC. It isn’t used for anything particularly demanding, but it is in a different league to the utterly useless Wintel Pro it replaced. I always use media players to get a feel for how powerful a PC is. The AK1 will play three simultaneous 1080p movies no problem. Going for a fourth will have the players buffering. I’m also quite impressed that it ships with Windows 10 Pro, which means you have the Bitlocker encryption system available. I added an SSD drive to the lower bay, and it picked that up and gave me a D drive no problem. You can unlock and permanently detach the lower drive bay, if you want to make the AK1 even smaller. The lower bay and the PC connect via a USB Type C connector. There is a fan in the machine, but it is virtually silent, and only runs occasionally. The coloured indicator ring has three colours, blue, red and purple. Blue is running, red is sleeping and purple comes on when you are transitioning out of sleep or hibernation mode. It’s a well thought out PC. Most of the main connections are at the back, which keeps the desk tidy. My only gripe, is that both the usb 3 connectors are on the right hand side. I would have preferred one at the rear, instead, so that I could connect the backup drive at the rear and just leave it connected. But that layout is probably dictated by the motherboard inside. The dual monitor outputs work well, and save you the cost of a docking station. I am running Office Pro Plus, and all apps start quickly, and work well. The WiFi card supports both 2.4 & 5GHz channels. Processor is an Intel Celeron J3455 @ 1.50GHz.

Very quiet and easily fast enough for most people
This brand has a few reviews on YouTube for those interested. There is a fan but I can barely hear it when it runs (which is not very often). The processor is twice as fast as my Intel Core 2 Duo from 2006 (last PC purchase) and uses 10 watts of power (when running) compared to the old Core 2's 65 watts. Power management is also very tasty: this goes to sleep and wakes in a few seconds. I imagine it draws of the order of a watt in sleep mode. This makes it very easy to just the thing on (sleeping) and not worry about the power consumption too much. You can wake it from a wifi USB keyboard (ie from the sofa!). I chose the Microsoft All in One keyboard, which I'd also recommend.Windows 10 was fully activated on arrival and I just had to allow the windows updates to run to bring it right up to date (allow a day or so!)64Gb of internal storage is OK to run windows but you would have to be careful and monitor the drive use over time. For that reason, I added a 256Gb SSD and cloned the updated windows 10 installation to the SSD. One can then deactivate the 64Gb drive and use it as an emergency restore if anything goes horrifically wrong in the future. There is a video on this Amazon site showing how to physically install the SDD. Basically you remove the drive caddy, peel the rubber feet off the main box to access the screws. Then carefully flip the top off to locate the SSD slot on the main board. Pop in the SSD and add a single screw (already in the board) and say hello to uncle robert. I did have a problem cloning (using Macrion software, reporting 4096K sectors-512 sector size mismatch) but this was due to me hastily accidentally setting up the new drive as a storage pool, do don't do that. Finally use F7 to enter the bios at boot time to change the default boot drive over to the SSD, then deactivate in device manager (or clear) the original 64Gb windows drive. So yes, get one. If you are planning to clone windows to the SSD, I suggest doing your research in advance. It's not super difficult but you will have to jump through some hoop.If you aren't planning on cloning the drive, I think you will still have a fine quiet, fast and rather elegant looking machine.Oh, I didn't even mention the nifty 2.5 drive bay. Oh well!
