## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the "top" of the cylinder tapered to insert into my chair? I assume this is industry standard.**
A: It is. The bottom taper is not as much as a standard Aeron cylinder.  It makes you need a shorter cylinder.

**Q: Is this chrome? It does not look shining in the pictures.**
A: Yes, it is chrome plated, very good quality.

**Q: What is the exact taper size at both ends?**
A: 1 inch and 2 inches

**Q: My current drafting chair says it goes from 22.5" to 30.5" which is an 8" stroke. Will this rod extend 2" higher since it's a 10" stroke?**
A: It didn't go as high as we thought. 
We bought a longer gas lift cylinder to replace the one that came with it.
