I had a baby daughter. My son already had an elf on the shelf and I thought it would be cute to add a baby to pal around with his elf. He loved it! My daughter still has no idea what it is 😋, but I’m happy with my purchase. It’s adorable.

We welcomed my son into the world near the end of the summer and wanted to include him in our elf traditions (I thought it would be magical for my 7-year-old daughter if her Elf got a baby brother this year too) we had a lot of fun with the two elves and this little guy matched perfectly. I considered having him "grow up" for next year, but I enjoyed the Big Sis/Little Bro scenario so much that I think I will use him again next year while our youngest is still just 1. He arrived in discrete enough packaging that my daughter wasn't suspicious, and he seemed well protected (no damage). His arms and legs move at the shouldt and hip joints only and his head can turn Left and right. His little hat, shoes and outfit can be removed but they are snug enough that they don't just fall off, it takes effort. We are certainly satisfied!

The kids loved adding a sibling for their Elf On The Shelf. Nothing like a small, incredibly cute partner for getting up to mishief.

Arrived quickly and is great quality. It’s a great addition to your elf silliness. Our kids were surprised and amused by our elf’s time jump.

I bought this for my three year old bc she was sad that our Christmas elf wouldn't be back until next Christmas. I had the idea to leave a baby elf nestled on a branch of the Christmas tree with a note from our "elf on the shelf" explaining that she'd be back next year but until then, we needed to look after this baby elf. Anyway, my three year old was beyond thrilled so she picked up the baby elf very carefully in her hands and moments later, there's shrieking because THE BABY ELF'S HEAD POPPED OFF! It didn't break, it just popped off and it apparently pops right back on just as easily as it pops off. At first I thought that maybe she was too rough with the little doll but when it happened minutes later while I was sitting there playing with my daughter, I regretted not putting some super glue on it after the first traumatic experience.Also, the baby elf's head doesn't have hair and has spiky plastic where it was manufactured (ie the appearance really drives home that this is a fake doll, not a magical elf) and the hat pulls off the head very very easily to reveal this detail so I glued her hat on before I even gave the doll to my daughter. The little red shoes are removable too but that's a fun "dress-up" feature that my daughter enjoys. Being able to take the hat off and on would also be a cute dress-up feature if the head was finished/smooth underneath.So the doll is very very cute, but if you plan to use it as a magical Christmas elf, then I highly recommend gluing on the hat and the head and I definitely wouldn't recommend this for any young kids still in the choking hazard phase.
