I've had this french press for about 3 weeks and so far, it works wonderfully. The plunger is tight, so there are few grounds, it keeps the coffee warm longer than expected, and it's very easy to clean. Plus it looks really good. I was talked into purchasing an expensive ceramic french press which turns out, fell apart and pieces broke off very easily. This is way less expensive and doesn't get too hot to the touch. Just wish the instructions were in english and not german.

I held off on writing this review because I had to get a replacement. Be careful of the textured paint- it started falling off immediately. In addition to that, make sure to towel dry after washing or the wood handle will get worn out fast- like, really fast. Photos attached were after 2 weeks of careful use for the textured paint model.Why did I give 5 stars? After returning the first one I got a new one with flat paint and it is way more durable. The screen fits tightly and the coffee stays hot. It’s a GREAT and beautifully made French press. Just stay away from the textured paints and towel dry the handle after washing. It really is a 5 star product.

Not sure why a person reviewed not to purchase this because this arrived broken...yes, things can break in transit, or at any point while being made. It happens. Considering this has a 12 month replacement policy, I don't see how that warrents a 1 star review.The packaging is nice and minimal. It arrives in one piece fully assembled with 2 as additional screens, like pictured in the other reviews. We had a glass one that broke so we sprung for something that is more heavy duty. Im so glad we chose this one. The canister piece is one piece of metal. It is not a canister piece that has a spout attached, of that makes sense. Nor is it a cover with an additional insulated cup that is on the inside. Sorry if this is confusing. I'm trying to explain it to the best of my abilities. In a nut shell, there is no place for water to get lodged in. It keeps warm/hot for a good hour? Or, longer. It is slightly warm to the touch but you can hold it by the canister as well as the handle. The handle is attaches well and looks of good quality. I am pretty blown away at the price because it is a great value. The plunger part looks and works beautifully. It also looks nice sitting on the counter whether clean and emptied or full of grounds waiting for me to give it a wash. Sounds silly but I was getring sick of seeing my dirty French press on the counter waiting for my son to nap to be cleaned. I can't wait to take it camping too. I won't be worried about transporting it at all. It can stand up to travel, no problem. Over all, fantastic buy. We will be gifting this to people we know because it's that awesome. Lovely birthday or engagement gift or just for fun.

Overall, it works great! My disappointment is with the handle. Specifically, it feels hollow and slightly cheap. There's also an exposed screw right where your hand goes that feels like it should have been covered up.

I love the style and the wood handle! I’m temped to buy the matching set. Great affordable price. Makes four cups and is a lightweight press. It comes with extra mesh filters. Easy to use and clean. There’s an arrow at the top for pouring. The press is well insulated and not even warm to the touch after pouring boiling water in it.My husband just had a fresh cup of coffee and said it tastes great and well steeped!

After breaking my 5th glass french press carafe in the last 2 years, I decided to try this stainless steel press.I've been using it daily for the past 3 weeks. It has exceeded my expectations!I pour in just-boiled water to make coffee or tea. Even after 30 minutes, my beverage is hot. Some heat is lost through the lid, but not through the sides (they are not hot to the touch; the lid will be warm to the touch). You can cover the lid with a rag or small tower to keep the heat lasting even longer. Prior to this press, I used standard glass carafes and would wrap them in a kitchen towel to keep them from cooling down. This press eliminates that need and performs well.The wooden handle and material look as handsome as in the pictures. It feels sturdy yet looks elegant. The wooden handle is bolted on well and is secured flush against the carafe; there are no unusual crevices or spaces where gunk might accumulate over time from washing. After daily hand washing, the wooden parts seem to hold up well and dry reasonably quickly.The metal screens screw together nicely and are comparable in quality to a Bodum french press, perhaps even a little better due to the dual mesh screen.The inside liter/oz markings are easy to read and have not faded after 3 weeks of hand-washing and use.This press seems like it will last for years. It is great, both aesthetically and functionally.

This is year 4 and it looks like new still. No problems have arisen and still making a great cup of coffee. Great product!

I purchased this French press to “upgrade” my boyfriend’s, which was (somewhat ironically) experiencing significant paint chipping/sloughing. It was time for something new, something that matched our little house’s style.It has been 3 months since my purchase. We use this French press every morning. It is easy to take the filtery bits apart to clean them. The filtery bits seem to do their job making sure there’s no leakage or grounds once that plunger slides so smoothly through 1 liter of hot, blooming bean water. The capacity is 1 liter, by the way, and I don’t drink coffee. I just make it in this French press, which is made out of stainless steel and apparently, Elmer’s glue mixed with a lovely green pigment.Despite following manufacturer cleaning instructions and being mindful of the wood handle(s), the entire thing is just chipping green paint everywhere. It is my favorite color and it looks excellent when it actually stays on the press! The wood is splintering at the top handle, and the side handle is starting to get a little wonky. But it’s still sturdy.If you don’t mind cleaning up paint chips or picking them out of your coffee, and if watching your French press deteriorate rather quickly and dramatically with regular use sounds appealing, this is an otherwise durable and reliable press. Go for it!If the chipping paint made it look rustic or antique-y or added any aesthetically pleasing elements it would be fine - but it just looks like I’ve been drying it off with sandpaper after cleaning and then drop-kicking it back into the cabinet.I think I’ll remove *all* of the paint on Dec 24 and gift it to my boyfriend again for Christmas.

Es muy muy bonita, es de muy buena calidad y conserva la temperatura por mucho tiempo mejor que la prensa de vidrio. Solo no sirve para espumar leche.

Love the looks of this press! Coffee is great and the pot is sturdy. After breaking so many glass carafes I will never go back. The coating has cracked and is falling off. Back to the drawing board will look for one without a coating.

Ich habe die Stempelkanne vor ein paar Wochen gekauft und täglich im Gebrauch. Bin sehr zufrieden damit und sie erfüllt alle Erwartungen, sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich.Manche Rezensionen bemängeln, dass die Holzteile "zerfleddern". Dieses Problem kann ich nicht bestätigen, allerdings spüle ich die Kanne nur von Hand. Für die Spülmaschine ist diese aufgrund des Holzes ungeeignet.Klare Kaufempfehlung!

I have used this excellent French Press for over a year, great quality, durable and a lovely looking piece in my coffee space! Comes with extra filters and very easy to clean thoroughly!
