This has kept me warm through a -40F spell of winter in Minnesota so far. It is very soft, comfortable, and breathable, while doing a good job protecting from the wind. It's stretchy so it fits well, and the quality is pretty incredible, especially given the price. The one issue I've had with this is that it doesn't stay in place well on its own, but rather will slide down my face. However, when there is some amount of overlap with a beanie, where one is on top of the other, it doesn't move on me. I feel like this isn't a problem, though, since if it's cold enough to need this, you're probably wearing a beanie as well. If you are just wanting to wear this on your face without some other sort of winter headgear, it may not be a great option. If you're already planning on wearing something to cover the rest of your head, I highly recommend it.

If you're using it for a neck warmer, it's fine. Not long enough to be a full gaiter to cover your nose and mouth, as well as your neck. Very warm though. The fleece lining is very soft and comfortable.

Went hiking up acatenango and then Fuego (active volcano) and this kept me warm and protected from the dust! Really pretty and soft. I would definitely get this again in different colors.

I bought this along with several other gaiters/neck protections. This is by far my favorite one and has been WONDERFUL in this cold snap. The fur is incredibly soft and feels great on your neck. I had no irritation whatsoever even when wearing it for a while. I had it over my mouth/nose while shoveling and while it will get damp/wet from your breath it never felt "gross" or anything. I turned it inside out and it dried out perfectly fine. Materials feel very sturdy and for the price I was a bit surprised how solid it felt. I've showed it off to some friends and now there's a group of us with these. Highly recommend!

Got this as a gift for my son. He loves it! The lining is super soft and warm, yet it is breathable. It stretches so it will fit over your head. Very nice quality and functionality. He can't wear scarves because he's a mechanic but this is perfect. He wears it on his neck but when it's really cold he can cover up his nose and mouth for good face protection. Excellent value overall!

This item is incredibly soft and warm. it's so much easier than wrapping around a scarf that will just fall off in the wind, this just stays put. Warning though -> if you buy the white one, be careful what you wear it with, I had people say they thought I was wearing a neck brace at first....So I returned it for the black color and LOVE it now.

You might be wondering why I gave this 5 stars but also saying it's not perfect, and that's because I think the flaw can be overlooked by the rest of the positives it provides, but I'll mention that in just a moment. The neck warmer is going to be great for people who spend time outdoors, especially in the winter months. I've personally found it very useful for long walks when doing a spot of birdwatching for an hour or two at a time. This is because the neck warmer has a nice soft fleece on the inside which is nice on the neck, and they've made it so the neck warmer is windproof as well keeping you warm and comfortable at the same time. The size is perfect for covering your mouth and about half of your ears when the wind picks up while also covering your neck. It is also flexible, so you can move it to different positions easily depending on what's happening. This neck warmer has definitely done its job in keeping my neck and lower parts of the head warm even while the temperatures have been around 1-3C outside, not including the feel of the annoying wind as we all know! So the negative, even though this has been ideal for keeping me warm and comfortable enough to earn 5 stars, the one issue I have with the neck warmer is its consistency in sliding down over time. This won't happen every 2 minutes, but it's noticeable in long durations of being outside, and I can see this being an issue for people who might do sports, like skiing or running, etc. If you feel comfortable pegging it or sowing it into a slightly tighter fit for more sporty occasions, then this will be perfect for those occasions too.
