Dearfoams Women's Cozy Memory Foam Indoor Rebecca Closed Back House Ballet Slipper with Wide Widths

After all these years, I know what size shoe I wear. Don't even mind admitting I have larg-ish feet. Have a closet full of 9-1/2 to 10 in everything from designer pumps, to loafers, to sneakers. So ordered the 9-10, figuring I'd be okay with that. The slippers are lovely... the size is not. Could just barely get them onto my feet, but under the fabric, my toes were extending over the tip of the sole. VERY tight... not comfortable, and comfort is, after all, rather the point of slippers. Lest it be thought that this problem applies only to the Large (9-10), unfortunately my sister had the same experience with the slippers I bought her. She wears 7-1/2, so I had ordered her the 7-8 (Medium). The result was the same: definitely too tight for comfort. So while I would happily award Dearfoam stars for its quality, they really need to work on their sizing. But, since every cloud has a silver lining, both pair of slippers are on their way to our local senior center Christmas gift gathering (with the sizes crossed out, and marked more accurately). And I'm going to give the XL size a try.UPDATE on Sizing:As noted above, I decided to just order the XL, assuming it, too, would run small, in roughly the same proportion as the Large did. But, as we all have learned, never assume. The difference between the Large and XL sizes (see photo) is roughly similar to the difference between Cinderella's glass slipper and an outdoorsperson's snowshoe. Okay, the snowshoe simile is a trifle exaggerated, and I have no snow here in Southern California on which to test them anyway. But ... whereas I can just squeeze my feet into the Large, I would walk right out of the XL. What IS the deal with sizes? And they are such lovely looking slippers, well made, nicely trimmed, rich color. But someone dropped the ball on this big time. Note: You can see where I crossed out the "9-10" on the Large slippers and wrote in "8-9" so that whoever chooses them at the senior center will not be disappointed.

I gave this product 4 stars because the slipper is really nice but the sizing is really off. I initially bought a 9-10 because I am a true 9.5 and they were too small, so I then purchased an 11-12 and they were way too big. I returned the 11-12 for a refund and gave the 9-10 to may daughter who is a 7 and she loves them and says they fit just right. Suddenly I feel like I just wrote the story of Goldie Locks lol

Although these slippers have the extreme potential for being an ultimately incredible comfort experience, it doesn't last long because they stretch out. I wear a size 6 1/2 shoe so I checked the size chart. Well they make the slipper in 5-6 (s), 7-8 (m), 9-10 (L), etc. (notice NO INBETWEEN SIZES) But they advise if you wear an off size such as I do they suggest ordering the next size up. But in my experience these slippers tend to stretch out so I ordered the Small, expecting them to stretch all around so I could wear them. (My problem is in the toe). Well that’s NOT what happened….they stretched alright but from side to side making them wider than my foot, therefore causing my foot to slip out of them as I walked and especially off my foot going up and down stairs causing a potential serious falling condition. So next I ordered the Medium as they had suggested but these are so much bigger that I cannot wear them. Why can’t these manufacturers get this right?!!! I’m sure I’m not the only one experiencing this problem.

These are very comfy slippers but I do not understand the reviews that say they run small. Based on those reviews, I ordered the medium and one look before I even tried them on I knew they would be too large. I normally wear a 5.5 to 6 and I am waiting for the exchange item. I just slipped the slipper on and it was soft but I did not walk around so don't know how comfy they really are because it would have flopped off my foot. I hope the small works out but I had to order the pink (which I did not want because the gray was not available in small).Note to Dearfoams Co: Please bring back the quilted microterry, closed back from around 2010(?) I have literally spent hours looking for...on eBay, Poshmark, etc.

Order a size up. These are way too small. Not only are they too small, but the back is angled forward so they dig into your heel. I’m an 8.5/9 and I ordered the 9/10 and they’re WAAAAAY too small. Super disappointed.

I just got these today and they feel really soft and comfortable. They are made with great quality material. Love how they feel!!

Very soft over foot with the chenille and underfoot with the memory foam. I wear 8, so ordered M (7-8) and its a perfect fit as I do not have socks on when in slippers. Just right. Wish there were more colors.

I'm not sure if it's my feet but it seems as though one slipper is slightly bigger than the other and I've never had the issue with sizing before. That said, I just use these around the house so it's really not a huge deal. I really like the tread on them and they're not too warm. I find that the fuzzy insides of slippers sometimes make it way too hot to wear barefoot but these seem to be okay! Nice little house shoes.

Was so pleased with these slipper. Being diabetic have a problem with feeling in my feet . these slippers have a thinner sole and so allow you feel the floor better than the ones for diabetic patients which you can buy. I find you don't trip up with these as the sole of the thick ones do. I will be buying more in other colours.Highly recommend them. If you have a problem with coszy fit order next size up. I take an 8 and will order the larger size next time as I have some issues with my feet.

Look and colour are great but fit is terrible. A size 7-8 is too small and a 9-10 is too big. These slippers should be offered in size 7, 8, 9, 10 rather than in between two sizes. They are too wide at the anterior of the footbed and too floppy because of it. I am returning them for this reason. Better luck to you if you have a wider foot.

Es complicado encontrar un producto de este precio a esa calidad, el paquete llegó a tiempo y en excelentes condiciones. Como opinión, son super suaves y calientitas y la suela te hace pensar que usas unos tenis cloud foam (así se sienten).

These were nice, soft, comfortable slippers. Unfortunately, they were purchased for a senior lady who had extreme swelling in one foot and leg, therefore they did not fit one foot. As well, she needed more support in the ankle area for walking and these did not have the support she required.
