Great Range Finder at good price
I have used this 4 rounds of 18 holes and multiple times each hole. Works fine I have not had a problem. The flag lock function works by first getting a range reading behind the flag (trees, bunker, bushes, etc.) and still holding the button down scan to the flag that is closer to you. the electronics will then lock on the closest range. Because the range finder is so small (all of them are) it is somewhat hard to hold the "crosshairs" steady on the flag. Large targets like a bunker or a tree are no problem to get a reading. I went to driving range and checked this range finder with the yard markers and all reading were good (+ / - 1 yard). The slope / elevation finder works, but have yet to find a green that it made a difference in selecting a club. You would need elevated tees and greens that are more than 3 yards (12 feet) to make a difference -- so for the courses I play this is a feature that I paid extra for that is not used. I have used this many times with sunglasses on with not problems seeing the range information. There is a focus adjustment on the eyepiece that you turn for you eyesight focus. Range finder has automatic shut off after release of button (about 15 seconds).

The product keeps good yardage, I almost gave it one star until I realized you can focus the unit if it gets blury, good for the cost. The only thing is that it was clearly made on the cheap, it's all light plastic. Not nearly as well made as Bushnell or Leopold, Nikon, etc. But hey, it reads good yardage, and that's what it's for.

With a little practice great tool
I have been using this range finder for a few months. My weekly foursome started the free load on my readings. The screens on their GPS washes out in the sun. It took a little practice to get good focus and aim. Kinda need an estimate to disregard distances based on bad aims.

get what u pay for! Loose batter chamber
First time I took it out on the course1) worked well when it was working! There is a difference between this and the more expensive finders but this worked well and I was happy.2) half way through the round, the battery chamber came open, the battery fell out somewhere and I was unable to use it for the round! Further, now I am having trouble closing the chamber! So this is a good range finder except for the battery chamber! I've contacted the customer service and will report back what I find.

Good purchase
So far so good. Seems to give accurate readings. A little learning curve needed but afterwards, pretty straightforward. Need a steady hand, but this is to be expected.

compared to the bushnell and it marks the same distances. only difference is that the marking through the scope are very small and it is a little bit harder to capture the target. I'm loving it, now I'm really breaking 80!!
