John Frieda Midnight Brunette Shampoo, Color Deepening Shampoo to Enhance and Refresh Brunette Tones, Cocoa and Primrose Oil-Infused Shampoo to Revive Brunette Color, 8.3 Oz

Absolutely love this shampoo. I have a ton of hair, and this makes it looks really amazing. It brings out all the different shades and makes it looks super healthy. It doesn't cover grays, exactly, but it does make them less noticeable in my dark brown hair. I use this every time I wash my hair.

I have always loved John Frieda color/blonde shampoos & conditioners! Not only do they always smell divine, but the formulas just work for my hair and scalp chemistry. They always leave my hair silky soft, light & clean, enhanced shine, and never leaves any product buildup. Rather than reordering the Brilliant Brunette combo, I decided to try this Midnight Brunette combo. THIS MIGHT JUST BE MY FAVORITE SHAMPOO/CONDITIONER EVER!!! As usual, it smells DIVINE!!! It does EXACTLY what it says (also like usual for Frieda products). It boosts every strand to the richest and shiniest brunette imaginable. If Frieda products work well for you, THIS IS A MUST!!! I will continue to use the Brilliant Brunette combo for 2-3 washes, then use the Midnight Brunette on the next for a luscious boost.

I have used this product for almost 2 weeks now in combination with the conditioner. I didn’t want it to darken my hair, but rather to keep it brown. I went from platinum back to a dark blonde/light brown color. Every time in the past I have tried to go back to my darker, natural color it washes out without 2 weeks and I’m left with a dingy, brassy blonde. Even with using a protein filler, professional dye, and cuticle/color sealant after treatment the brown won’t stay in my hair. I’m very pleased that this product has kept my hair a nice dark blonde hue with just the right amount of golden tones to still be considered neutral. The smell is nice as well, slightly like cocoa or caramel that I just can’t put my finger on. My hair has decent moisture and softness after without feeling weighed down. If the color does fade more I’m going to try to color deepening treatment as well. I used to use Ion color depositing hair mask in natural light brown until it was discontinued so I’m hoping this collection will replace it. So far just this shampoo and conditioner combo is even better than the Ion! I would recommend it to others.

I'm glad I found this. It darkened my natural hair, just like I was looking for. I stopped dyeing my hair and let the grey hair show for over a year at least. This helps my hair look darker without having the color my hair. It does somewhat dry out my hair but I just do a deep condition once a week and it works for me. It's staying in my hair routine.

I love this. My hair natural hair color varies between dark dirty blond to the color of a Hershey kiss depending on the season. Lately it's been looking flat and one dementional. This has been helping deepen my color - making it look richer and healthier. It looks super dark when you out it in your hands but it doesn't color your hands or stain your shower at all so don't worry about using it on white rubs or tiles!

This is a nice shampoo, but my grays are just as white as before I used this shampoo. So, good shampoo but doesn't color the hair. Perhaps it works if your hair is already colored and it deepens the color you have, but it doesn't work to darken grays.

I bought this to help deepen my brown (colored) hair, as it is intended. What I get is a head full of brass! If you desire brassy or red highlights then give it a go. But to protect your fading, brown hair this is NOT the product. I’d leave zero stars if I could. I do not recommend.

Si Desde la primera aplicación deposita reflejos cobrizos, es de esperar que con el uso continuo quede genial el cabello. Rico aroma durable, deja manejable, con cuerpo y brillosa la cabellera, lamentablemente suspendí su uso, tengo cuero cabelludo muy sensible (tricodinia) que me actuó como un tinte (no es tinte) ya no uso tinte por la misma razón y es por eso recurro a este tipo de productos, pero por esa situación personal, no puedo calificar como malo el producto solo porque no sea apto para MI. califico como excelente
