I have a very small head and there’s a lot of extra room on this but it is adjustable. The flap on the back and the flap on the front completely cover my neck and from my nose down. It also has a strap to keep it from blowing away in the wind. The part over the nose is vented so it’s easier to breathe.I wore My first, tan, one for about a year. Just bought another one and a pink one and a gray one and I am very happy with all of them. It’s nothing fancy, nor is it fashionable, but it’s very practical

Best hat EVER. I cannot tolerate the sun on my skin and for years I have been looking for and buying hats with large brims to shade my face. I saw this on Amazon while looking for a sun proof shirt. I purchased this in tan and loved it. The back shields your neck and the sides can be snapped together in the front to keep the sun off your jawline and neck. There is also a front attachment if you need your mouth and nose covered..maybe for dusty days. I loved the hat so much I returned to Amazon and purchased it in Pink. The hat is lightweight and stays secure when you pull the drawstring. There is ventilation in the hat as well. I am thinking of buying a third one.

It's a good hat for sure and looks just like in the picture and seems to be sturdy/etc.The only issue I have is that the color was very much not what I was expecting. I ordered "Rose Red" and the hat I got was clearly very very "pink." I'm not sure who named the colors, but I don't think they've ever seen a red rose, haha.If you order "Rose Red" expect a pink hat.

Absolutely love it! Very light, love it coming in pink color! It was extremely helpful during the trip in Nevada dasert and Burning Men festival, Provided exelent protection from sun to. Face and nack as well and protection from dust as well. Easy to remove all part , very light and little bit cooling as well. Vety happy I find it!

I ordered this hat to protect my nose and lips while in the boat or on the beach. The flaps are removable so you can take one or both off. It does provide great protection, looks good, good quality, cool, and easy to breathe with the face flap on. I love it and will buy it again so I can have some different colors.

She says it keeps the sun off her face and neck, light weight and comfortable. Like any hat, it's awfully warm to wear when it's hot outside.

Wow this is one of my best purchases yet! I’m extremely sun sensitive and prone to hyperpigmentation (I’m very fair skin toned and a slave to sunblock) and I was looking for an alternative to my UPF umbrella, which I love and can’t live without, but sometimes my arms get sore from walking for hours and hours with it. This hat turned out to be the perfect solution to my problem, exactly like the earlier reviews raved: it’s an amazing, lightweight, highly functional and well made product. I love this bright pink too, it’s fun and gorgeous! I’m so impressed that I ordered a second one in khaki green for myself and beige for my mom (she loved it so much on me that she wanted one too). Very lightweight and breathable. The mask part will be handy when I am on the riding lawnmower. So glad the sun is off my neck now. Also fits well, I bought 3 of them for my family and 2 of us have large heads and they actually fit.
