Absolutely does what it claims to do, at least for me
Absolutely love this shampoo! I am a 74 year old women with shorter thin gray white hair. This is my first time using a bar shampoo so I was a little skeptical. How hard would it be to apply, would it leave my hair in a tangle, would it dry it out. I've tried other shampoos that claim to give volume and texture to thin hair and they've worked for the day I use them but in between shampoos my hair would go back to being flat. I was actually amazed how this bar of Rosemary & Biotin changed the texture and look of my hair after one use and the look lasted until my next shampoo! I've already ordered another bar. It's easy to use, a couple of swipes over different spots of my hair and it lathers perfectly, rinses out completely, hasn't dried my hair out ( I have well water), I love the texture now and it smels wonder! I do keep it on a drying rack in the shower to make sure it lasts as long a possible. I do have two wishes though.. I wish the smell lasted longer and of course I wish it wasn't so expensive but for now I'm willing to pay because of the change it's made in my hair! Would absolutely recommend this to anyone with thin fine gray/white hair.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Curls Are Thriving, and My Scalp Is Finally Happy! 🌿✨
I may have found my new holy grail hair care product! 🙌 The Kitsch Rosemary & Biotin Shampoo Bar has officially earned its spot in my shower, and I’m loving the difference in how my hair and scalp feel. I have naturally curly hair, and let me tell you, these curls can have a mind of their own! 😂 What I love about this shampoo bar is that my curls look good even when I decide to skip styling products altogether. I get less frizz than I expected, and when I do use my usual styling products, my curls are ON POINT. Bouncy, defined, and looking like they understood the assignment! 💁♀️ Another huge win? This bar lathers SO well! 🫧 I was honestly impressed by how much suds I got, and my hair feels genuinely clean afterward. Not that weird, squeaky, stripped feeling, but a fresh, clean scalp without that heavy product buildup. And THIS is the big one for me. I switched to Kitsch full-time because I was struggling with scalp buildup from traditional store-bought shampoos. Since making the switch, I’ve been much happier with how clean my scalp feels. No more feeling like I need to wash my hair just to get rid of leftover residue! As for the rosemary and biotin hair-growth claims, I haven’t used it long enough to say whether it’s actually helping my hair grow. I want to be fair and honest about that. However, my naturally baby-fine hair does feel thicker, which has definitely caught my attention! 👀 I’m excited to keep using it and see how things go. Bonus points for the shampoo bar format, too. It’s a nice alternative to traditional bottled shampoo and makes my shower routine feel a little more intentional. Bottom line: If you have naturally curly hair, struggle with scalp buildup, or want a shampoo that lathers beautifully and leaves your hair feeling clean without weighing it down, I highly recommend giving this one a try. My curls are happy, my scalp is happy, and I’m officially a Kitsch girl! 🌿💕

Nice shampoo bar and easy to use
I’ve been using this rosemary and biotin shampoo bar for 2 weeks and so far I’m really happy with it. It lathers better than I expected for a shampoo bar and is easy to work through my hair. My hair feels clean after washing without feeling overly stripped or dry. I also like that the bar is compact and doesn’t take up much space in the shower. The scent is beautiful and the bar seems like it will last quite a while compared with a regular bottle of shampoo. I bought it mainly because I wanted to try a rosemary and biotin hair product. I can’t say yet whether it has made a difference in hair growth, but as a shampoo, I’ve enjoyed using it so far.

Kitsch 2-in-1 Shampoo & Body Wash Bar: Gentle, Eco-Friendly, and Perfect for Sensitive Skin
Kitsch 2-in-1 Ultra Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash Bar (3.2 oz, Fragrance-Free): Gentle, Eco-Friendly, and Ideal for Sensitive Skin I recently tried the Kitsch 2-in-1 Ultra Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash Bar (3.2 oz, Fragrance-Free) to simplify my shower routine and reduce plastic waste, and it’s been a fantastic addition, especially for my sensitive skin and scalp. This vegan, biodegradable bar is designed for those with allergies or sensitivities, and it delivers on its promise of gentle, effective cleansing with a few minor caveats. Ease of Use: 4.5/5 Using the Kitsch bar is straightforward. You wet your hair and skin, rub the bar between your hands to create a rich lather, or “paint” it directly onto your scalp and body, then massage and rinse. I found the lather surprisingly luxurious for a five-ingredient product, and it cleans thoroughly without needing much product. The bar’s travel-friendly design is a big plus—it’s TSA-compliant, saving space in my gym bag or carry-on, as noted on Kitsch’s site. My only gripe is that the bar can get slippery, so I recommend the Kitsch mesh soap saver bag (sold separately) to prevent dropping and extend its life, as suggested by reviewers. Performance and Effectiveness: 4.5/5 This bar excels at cleansing both hair and body without irritation. Formulated with just five ingredients—Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Vegetable Glycerin, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, and Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride—it’s free of parabens, phthalates, silicones, sulfates, colorants, and fragrances, making it hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive scalps and skin. My dry, eczema-prone skin felt hydrated and smooth post-shower, and my scalp, which often itches with other shampoos, stayed calm and flake-free. Amazon reviewers with psoriasis or dermatitis rave about its soothing effects, with one saying, “No itch, amazed and so happy!” For hair, it left my fine, wavy strands clean and manageable, though I needed a separate conditioner for extra softness, as some users noted it can leave hair slightly dry without one. Sustainability and Packaging: 5/5 The eco-friendly aspect is a major draw. Each bar replaces two bottles of liquid shampoo or body wash, reducing plastic waste, and Kitsch’s partnership with 4ocean removes the equivalent of one plastic bottle from oceans per bar purchased. The biodegradable bar comes in recyclable cardboard packaging, aligning with zero-waste goals. Reddit users appreciate its longevity, with one noting it lasts about three months with twice-weekly washes for medium-length hair. I’ve used mine for a month (washing 3–4 times weekly), and it’s barely diminished, especially when stored dry in a mesh bag. Comfort and Sensitivity: 4/5 The fragrance-free formula is a godsend for allergy sufferers like me. It’s truly unscented, unlike some “unscented” products with faint chemical odors, and it didn’t trigger my eczema or scalp sensitivity. Customers with sensitive skin, including a 66-year-old reviewer, praise its non-drying, residue-free finish. However, one SkinSafe user reported contact dermatitis despite its hypoallergenic claims, suggesting rare reactions are possible. I experienced no irritation, but those with severe sensitivities should patch-test first. The bar’s texture can harden if exposed to water between uses, as a Reddit user noted, so proper storage is key to avoid cracking or snagging hair. Value for Money: 4.5/5 Priced around $14 (or $11.90 with a subscription), the bar is cost-effective, lasting 50–100 washes, equivalent to 2–3 bottles of liquid shampoo. With a 4.9-star average from 239 Kitsch reviews and strong Amazon feedback, users call it “a must” for sensitive skin and travel. Compared to Lush or Ethique bars, it’s competitively priced and performs similarly, though some Reddit users prefer Ethique for curly hair. The only drawback is that those with very dry hair may need a conditioner, adding to the cost. Final Verdict: The Kitsch 2-in-1 Ultra Sensitive Shampoo & Body Wash Bar is a stellar choice for eco-conscious folks with sensitive skin or scalps. Its gentle, five-ingredient formula cleans effectively, lathers richly, and leaves skin and hair feeling nourished without irritation. The eco-friendly packaging and travel convenience are huge wins, though proper storage and occasional conditioner use are needed for optimal results. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a sustainable, gentle cleansing solution, especially for travel or sensitive skin types. Just store it dry and consider the mesh bag for longevity.

Solid Rosemary Bar Built for Fine Hair
This is a solid shampoo bar made with rosemary, shaped like a chunky letter S, and meant for fine, limp hair that needs a lighter wash. It is vegan, made in the USA, and swaps out two bottles of liquid shampoo or conditioner. The box is recycled paper too, so the whole thing stays plastic free from shelf to shower. The S shape is more than a design choice. The curved ridges sit nicely in the palm, and the grooves give fingers something to hold when everything is wet and slippery, which matters with soap. Rubbing the bar between wet hands or straight on the hair builds a creamy lather fast. A little goes a long way. Nothing to install, nothing to measure, no pump to clog. Just wet it and go. Rinsing is where lightweight washes either pass or fail. This one rinses clean and leaves no residue behind, which counts for a lot with fine hair, since anything heavy weighs it down quick. My hair condition after drying is soft and light, with nothing coated sitting on the strands. It also feels gentle during the wash, with no harsh stripping sensation. The scent comes across as soft and herbal, more fresh rosemary than perfume blast, and that fits the whole natural feel of the bar. Practical side is strong. The bar is compact, so it packs in a travel bag with no leaking and no liquid limits to worry about. It is made for around 100 washes, and since one bar covers the job of two bottles, the value feels solid in the long run. Keep it on a draining dish between uses and it holds up nicely. Drawbacks exist. A bar left sitting in a puddle turns mushy and wears down faster, so storage matters. It also feels less slippery than liquid shampoo, so detangling takes a bit of patience at first, and a switch from bottles needs a few washes to adjust to. The herbal scent will not suit every preference either. I saw no hair growth change in my time with it, and that needs far longer than a few washes to judge fairly. Overall, a thoughtful, practical bar that does its job cleanly while cutting plastic out of the routine.

I'm sold!
Love this! I have a genetic condition that is thinning out my hair and I genuinely think this might he helping to slow the loss, potentially even stop it. It's easy to use, lathers amazingly, and would be great for travel. So far I'm hooked.

Excellent liquid shampoo alternative, works great
This is a unique product that will replace your regular shampoo. The scent is excellent, sweet and light It does not dry your hair out like other soap bar products As far as rosemary goes, some people say it will help with hair loss but I have not seen much evidence of it It is expensive at $13 per bar but its better than most grocery store shampoos and feels more natural I dont experience any tangling or knotting Decent shine Washes out easily Good packaging and arrived unbroken It actually does last a long time if you use it appropriately - people tend to use way too much. You should lightly coat your hair and lather with water. It lathers very well *TIP* : store it in your shower standing up AND use it from the bottom or the top when applying it. It feels natural to hold it and use the front or back of it to apply but this will gradually make it fall apart and crumble, cutting the amount of use you get.

Shampoo Bar - Rosemary & Biotin
First of all, the shampoo has a pleasant smell, but for me personally it’s a bit overwhelming. I only say that because I am very sensitive to smell. I think that in time I will become used to it. It is not a smell that is triggering at this point of migraines, which is what I have to be very careful of. I do appreciate that. The shampoo produces wonderful, lather my head tingles, and feels very clean after using the shampoo. It’s very easy to use. My hair felt a bit dry after using it, which brings me to the one point why I didn’t give this five stars, and unfortunately, it’s not just this bar shampoo, but because of the size of them, and the fact that they are bar shampoos, I wish they all came in packs of shampoo and conditioner. I really need a conditioner because now my hair feels a bit on the dry side, as it does with the other bar shampoos that I have tried, but I also have tried conditioners with those as well, so it is not specifically this brand. I believe they’re all like that or it could just be the way my hair reacts to it. I’m not sure. I just wish it was a package deal even if it was a bit more expensive. I think if this bar is indicative of ones that I have used previously, this will have much more longevity than a bottle shampoo and it is much better for your hair as it doesn’t have a lot of the other additives that the liquid shampoos have. Yes my hair feels very clean and lightweight when I am done washing it. I would recommend this bar shampoo and I would even like to possibly try other scents, depending on what’s available and what they are used for as this one is for fine, limp and delicate hair, which pretty much describes my hair.

Incredibly good
Ultra gentle and leaves hair incredibly clean. I was a bit sceptical but it has won me from the first wash! May definitely not be for everyone's hair but I have thin hair and it has worked wonders
