This is the bright level I wanted for my Mazda CX-5 GT 2021 (VERY bright and clean 6000K light)
This is the bright level I wanted for my Mazda CX-5 GT 2021 (VERY bright and clean light). It says "this doesn't fit" on Amazon, but it is a direct fit for the map and rear seat lights - you may just have to squeeze the contact clips a little closer with your fingers. The trunk light may require the same kind of squeeze, but gently with some pliers. Great replacement for the dim filament bulbs with amber light. Solid board and sod quality with LED array.

Go into the light...
We have a problem... I purchased this pair of LED bulbs to replace the incandescent dome light in my old '84 Mallard motorhome. Well it fit and I have an extra for when one burns out in the next 40 years or so. It fit perfectly in the original housing that the old filament bulb melted from getting too hot. Isn't that swell? Well I will no longer have that problem with these fancy new LED bulbs. They get a little warm, but absolutely nothing to be concerned about, especially compared to incandescent. Back to the problem... My vision was a nice 20/20 when I purchased these LED bulbs. After installing one of them, I made the mistake of looking directly at the LEDs. I am now dictating my thoughts to my wife so she can type them out for me, as I am blind as a bat. Even the sun could take a lesson from these bulbs. I swear you could turn one on in high-noon, broad daylight, and somehow it would get brighter outside. If you could take one of those giant spotlights that shoot light beams into the sky and squeeze it down into a 1.65" x 0.67" rectangle, this would be it. I've heard from my wife that all LEDs on the bulb are still illuminating perfectly. She heeded my warning of not looking directly at them and she used a welding helmet to check and see. They should be called Medusa lights, or Poltergeist lights... I could even quote Bruce Springsteen and/or Manfred Mann... I couldn't be happier with this purchase. VERY bright (unlike myself) and hearty. I've left it on for extended periods of time with not a single problem. Don't look around (and don't look directly at them), just buy these bulbs. You most certainly won't be disappointed. Yeah, there is a plethora of LED festoon bulbs to be had out there, but let me save you some time. I would also like to recommend that you purchase a pair of sunglasses along with these bulbs. And yes, wear them at night. BTW, LUYED will be hearing from my lawyer about the pain and suffering caused by my newfound blindness. I just have to find him first...

The brightest warm LED light in this form factor! UPDATE: Second one still going after 4 years!
19 month update at the bottom! 4 Year update as well! First off, these things are incredibly bright for the form factor! I love the warmth of these compared to the xenon white ones (I have two friends who bought those instead, far too straining on the eyes in my opinion). At first I was reluctant to buy these for fear they would get too hot and cause the LEDs to fail prematurely as many others I have gotten in the past (other brands and styles), but this package actually uses a proper switching power supply instead of just a bunch of hot resistors! I think these should greatly outlast the other brands and styles I have used in the past, but only time will tell! For now, I am incredibly happy with the purchase! UPDATE! After 19 months of near daily use, my main dome light has failed. One row of LEDs flickers and only 1 row remain lit, the others are dead. There was no warning, it worked fine one day and instantly stopped working the next time I opened my door. I figured these would last a lot longer than the older style design (using a driver circuit instead of just some resistors), but it ultimately still failed earlier than I would have liked. -1 star for that. Overall, not a bad buy at the sub $10 price point, but I am going to spend some extra money elsewhere in hopes of a longer lifespan this time around. Another update! I did an autopsy and found that 5 of the 24 LED chips have failed. 2 are dead shorts, the other 3 failed open. The driver circuit appears to operate correctly. Looking at the datasheet for the driver IC and seeing a 0.47 ohm current sense resistor on the board, it would appear that this design is targeting around 212mA total output or around 26.5mA per chip (4 parallel strings of 2 chips in parallel, 3 pairs in series). I don't have the means to measure that directly, that is just how the math works out. Either way, with my remaining working bulb, the LEDs themselves hit 82C+ (180F+) in open air in a 20C (68F) room. Hitting 90-100C+ (194-212F+) inside a dome light housing on a hot summer day seems inevitable. I've had weeks of 35C+ (95F+) weather and I imagine those temps can quickly shorten the lifespan of this product. I think I'll be modifying my remaining bulb with a 0.55, 0.62, or 0.68 ohm current sense resistor to see how that affects the brightness and heat output. 4 year update: As per my last update, I did modify the second bulb to have about 94mOhms for the current sense resistor. Seems to have made a huge difference considering it is still working after another 2.5 years. I pulled the second bulb out of my car as it just suddenly started flickering and died after about 2 weeks. Well, I just tested it and it actually works one way around, but not the other! It is interesting that the bridge rectifier gave out in one direction, but the other direction still works so back into the car it goes!

Bright bulbs, excellent replacement for the dull halogens
These bulbs really changed the way my car illuminated from the inside. It made it nice and bright, easy to find things if I drop something in the car. I got these for a 2009 Scion XB. I had trouble installing it, and didn't get them in all the way, but, they still worked just fine. I feel the difficulty has more to do with car design then the actual bulbs. They dim perfectly fine, just like the original halogen bulbs. There was no difference in dimming quality when the doors opened/closed. I definitely recommend these bulbs. However, I will say that soon after installing the bulbs, I did sell the car, so I can't really say anything about their longevity.

Exactly what I wanted
I've changed all my interior lights that come on when you open the door to red. Because red you can see, but you don't lose your night vision. And this fit perfectly, and that's exactly what I needed for my main overhead, dome light.

Bright
They are way brighter than I thought they weโre going to be. A little too bright when youโre trying to find something in your truck while youโre driving at night it almost blinds to you, but thereโs nothing wrong with that. At least you can see everything inside the truck.

Amazing
Absolutely love the intensity of the red. They're super bright, but aren't blinding.

Extremely bright and reliable after 18 months of use (41mm 578 dome light-white)
41mm 578 dome light (Xenon white): I've been using these for 18 months by now. Well, to be honest I've only used one out of the two because it has not failed. Every LED is working after all this time. When I say this bulb is bright, I mean it. I used other LEDs before that I thought were bright, but this is at least twice as bright, not that I have a good way to measure it. It's like having the equivalent of the Sun in the car. Assuming it's still the identical product, I highly recommend these LEDs. To be clear, I bought them myself. This is not a paid review or any rubbish like that.

Great bulbs
very bright, can turn the led panel inwards to be more dim.
