I have tiny fry. They don’t seem to understand hiding, which works out since the type of fish I have don’t eat their babies. Mostly the snails hang out all through this thing. It adds a nice green color to the tank though and probably helps with the microbiotic ecosystem. I do have quite a few fake plants, and a couple life ones, but I’m guessing the fish like more things to swim around and block some of the light

They do float Good for small fry to hide

75 gallon tank, while this does help hide fry and encourage tank population, you need several together for better coverage. One alone leaves more vulnerability. The fry love it and it has improved my fry survival. no assembly, looks nice on top of the tank. Value is good but should get more for that price.

Great item for breeding fish

I floated the grass on top of the tank . Fry were able to hid from adult guppies. Once I noticed fry in the grass I used a large clear bowl to scoop out grass and fry . And transferred to small tank just for fry. This method has worked multiple times for me. Great product.

I have six African dwarf frogs and they love these floating grass pods. They’re so easy to use, just rinse and pop them in the tank. I have to clean them often which is simple since the come apart and can be put back together easily. They look cool in my tank and the frogs use them everyday. There’s no smell from them. They’re a nice size and don’t feel rough which was one of my worries bc I don’t want anything to hurt my frogs. I highly recommend these.

Absolutely the best buy for our Molly tank! We have one floating on each side. I tied a string to the middle of each so when we put the lid on the string can sit under the lid and keep them from floating everywhere. I found our first bunch of Molly fry in them a couple days ago. Not only could they all hide in them, but none of the adults could get in! They are also the perfect size for our big fish net. We just held the net under the plants, slowly lifted the plants, and were able to scoop up all the Molly fry at one time to put in their own tank. Seriously could not have been easier. If you’re not able to get live plants I definitely recommend these!

My guppy fry love hiding out in these as they float. Great product.

These are absolutely brilliant I placed two on the bottom and two on the top of my tank and my molly fry went straight to them! At first I didn't like the idea of having plastic plants in my tank but in fairness they don't stand out mixed in with real plants either if you are wanting to give your baby fish a chance this is what you need in your tank they have got some very harsh negative reviews by some people who haven't got a clue it seems, buy with confidence

When I got these the first thing I noticed was how big they are! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! Just plunk em in the tank and watch the fry hide in them. Perfect, probably going to order another set. Works for me!
