Fruit Pectin

I've been very pleased with this purchase. The quality exceeded my expectations, and the product was exactly as described. It arrived quickly, was easy to use, and has performed well since I received it. It's a great value for the price, and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again. I would definitely recommend it to others looking for a quality product.

Highly recommend Hoosier Farm Fruit Pectin. I was looking for a way to save money this year making my berry jams and jellies. A name brand box of fruit pectin can cost around $5.00 and that’s for just one batch of jam/jelly. I can get 16 batches from Hoosier Farms 2# bag at about $1.37 per batch. And this pectin rocks!! I got three flats of raspberries and made jam. The pectin blended nicely in the berry pulp and set up perfectly for the best raspberry jam ever. Blackberry jelly is next on my list and I’ll be using Hossier Farms Fruit Pectin for sure!!!!

Ok, I didnt want to keep buying the little boxes of pectin for the price they were and how much I can. I read that this brand says to use 6 tablespoons per one box of pectin the recipes call for. Did that and my jelly didnt set to jelly it was still runny so I reheated and added 6 more (so 12 tablespoons total) and then it became super set (hard but mixable) jelly. Im still playing with it. I understand the differences in sure jel pectin (low sugar and what not) and someone will have something to say ALWAYS but find what you like and you will find a product that works for you. I love this stuff and the amount for the price. I have used it for 2 jams and 2 jellies so far and it works for me. Versus the amount of money to buy those little boxes.

Large bag, should last forever. Used to make lavender jelly and turned out good.

It's a great price for the amount you get, but there arent any instructions. So be ready to consult google and trial and error if you are new to jamming.

I am so happy with this purchase. I have been making strawberry jam for years and this was a no brainer when buying pectin. I was previously buying little boxes and it was becoming too much to buy in comparison to this product. I even gave half of the bag to my grandma and we were able to make plenty of jam to each last us until next summer with plenty left. I am very thankful to have looked for an alternative brand such as this that are not only affordable but also get the job done. Will be buying more!

this stuff is trash no instructions anywhere used 2/3 of a cup in a small batch of jalapeno jelly and it never set up 20 jars waisted pectin wasted so many jalapenos 3 days wasted trash i say

You supposedly can use it to make freezer jam, you absolutely can't. Followed the instructions to a T and got zero set. Doubled the amount of it and tried on that same batch, nothing. Don't be fooled and don't waste your beautiful fresh berries picked from the field trying to use it. It also turned the strawberry juice an orange color.

This is awesome to use. More pectin that other products.
