I got them to put my sunflower heads and now my sunflower heads look tiny since the bag is so big which is great for me. They don’t feel heavy to me but I’m using them outdoors. I wasn’t expecting them to feel so good though since the smaller size bags (still big for vegetables) I bought from someone else felt smooth and probably wouldn’t handle bird pecking but I think this bag can handle birds trying to peck at it. I’ll update if I see any tears since birds might try to get my sunflower seeds. The string was a little hard to pull but I’m not trying to protect against insects so I don’t need it tight tight just enough to cover the head of the sunflower.

I had a pair of birds eating my figs. I used these covers in order to prevent them from taking a bite of all my fruits. It worked well and now the birds do not come back. Pros: It is relatively cheap. It prevents birds from eating my figs. Cons: The string on the bags tend to fray when you tie and untie them. The cinching on the cord will leave gaps at the stem if that matter to you. Can come undone, depending on what kind of knot you use. Reusability can be a problem because of the fraying of the red/orange strings.

I bought two packs of 3 bags ( in the tallest size), enough to cover 6 Blueberry bushes. I am impressed with the thickness of the mesh bags. They should last several years. They go over the plants fairly easy. The drawstring at the bottom is handy. If anything could be better, maker could add grommets above the drawstring so I could put a ground staple in it. It should be ok as it is, we’ll see.

Finally! A pesticide-free solution that saved our vegetable garden!!! Frustrated with a beautiful vegetable garden slowly being destroyed by insects, we purchased these bags. I placed the bags over each budding Japanese eggplant, cabbage and broccoli and then cinched the drawstring close against the stem. WOW! No more lacy, bug-eaten leaves! The bags allowed sunlight and water in and kept the pesky insects out, allowing my vegetable to grow and thrive instead of looking like leafy-green lace. I purchased these bags in various sizes, depending on the size of the vegetables I intended to cover. Highly recommended and pesticide free! Hooray for this genius solution! A+++

Super thick for my use and hard to tighten strap. Tie material is plastic and slippery so can't tighten bag as much and knot is not tight to hold. Would change tie material but overall bag material is not ideal for my use.

Kept squirrels away from squash.

Very stiff netting. Hard to get on fragile fruit. Tight string are stiff and hard to tighten

Very durable. It protected my tomatoes from all sorts of predators.
