Love love love this series!! The characters are unique, well written, and grow as the story progresses. The dragons have distinct personalities, which is rare in these types of stories, and are fun to read. But I think one of the biggest 5-star things for me is the world building. In many books, the world building is either nonexistent making it difficult to visualize, or too exhaustively detailed, breaking the flow of the story. Eilleen Mueller has done a fabulous job of creating a world easy to visualize, as part of the storyline instead of separate from it, making this series very easy to read. The characters, twists and turns, and epic proportions of the story keep the reader engaged, waiting to find out what happens next!Make sure you shower first and have a few free days when you start this series, because you WILL NOT be able to put it down!!

These books are so wonderful. The story they tell is so exciting. There is a lot of suspense and magic. The characters are vastly defined. I can’t wait to read the next book.

After reading the Silver Dragon and the Bronze Dragon, I read book 1 - 3 in this series straight through. The first book in the series seemed a little slow at the beginning of the first book, but then the paced changed and continued to improve through the other books. Throughout each book, I enjoyed the descriptive world building and the detailed character development. If you are looking for a fun, nice paced read, which includes dragons, magic and well done twists and turns throughout, I recommend the first three books (in order due to character building/reveal details). I am looking forward to reading the remaining books in this series.

This series has everything you need to enjoy! Dragons of all colors, and just like humans all kinds of emotions and attitudes. The heros are just as diversified! Great read, I highly recommend this series for those that love dragons,adventure, magic, and great heroes and most importantly a great story.

Riders of Fire Books 1-3 , these three books are exceptional well written. The characters are well represented, and easily identified with. There’s also enough action and adventure for everyone.

Loved this boxset!! Could not put it down. The lore is well thought out and the world building is phenomenal.The characters are diverse and complex and the storyline keeps you turning pages!YA is not my usual thing, but this wasn’t missing anything, and it’s quite refreshing to read books concentrating on plot and character development than heat factors to keep a reader reading.

Liked the character development, although the timeline from naivete to achieve wisdom seemed a bit too brief for Queen’s rider to achieve,

One of the most amazing dragonrider series of books I've read! Eileen Mueller is one of the best fantasy writers out there. I would recommend this to anyone who loves fantastic characters, dragons, magic and wizards. This series will not disappoint!

My review encompasses the entire series Books 1 - 6. I found the series a seamless evolution. Started out good and just got better and better. There are a number of "heros" in the books and their involvement is told either jointly with others, or as separate entities. In either case, the story line blends and you continue to be engrossed. In the books, a number of important characters meet their end, but this only tends to add to the story. Sometimes you didn't see such a death happening, but the manner in which they depart is integral to the storyline, whether they be villains or heros. Certainly inspired fantasy writing.

The character development is nicely done, not only with the main characters but side characters as well. The romance isn't overwhelming, just enough to create a deeper bond with the characters, and the plot itself is fascinating.These books are fast paced for the most part, only slowing to build characters or the occasional sweet scene.The fact that the book jumps from one point of view to another is perfect for this book. Normally it irritates me and I find myself rushing through (skimming rather than reading) entire chapters just to get to the point of view of a character I like. However, this was not the case with these books. It was done extremely well. I read every chapter without getting at all bored.Very, very well done and most certainly recommend.

A great read

Just finished the first three books in this refreshing series. The new characters blend with each other and the storyline increases in action, information, and hope for a happy outcome. Now to get the rest of the series! Gracias, Eileen, for a refreshing storyline!
