Gross! Covered in some strange grease that stunk and had black specks not to mention smudges, finger prints and ring from a cup on coating.

No problems taking off the protective plastic wrap.
Saw from a lot of other reviews for other trays that the plastic wrapping is hard to get off, but this brand wasn't that bad to unwrap.
