RecPro RV 12 Volt Macerator Pump | Portable 12GPM Sewage Waste Grinder | Dump Pump with Flexible Impeller for RVs, Motorhomes, and Campers

Have to connect it to a hose somehow. I bought part at Ace Hardware. Worked well pumping from street through 50' garden hose with a rise of maybe 4'. Some have said it didn't fit the pipe on the camper. It is extremely tight and difficult to connect but carefully it will fit. For sure with it that tight it won't leak. We will normally dump through a standard hose. This is a great option to do it at home if our local dump site is closed or busy, or for the season end good clean out when we don't want to monopolize the dump station. We have a Camco Rhino Blaster that we hooked this to so I capped off the fresh water rinse port.

So called operators manual includes “ZERO” instructions. Here’s a few hints that took some time to find. Pump outlet will require some kind of 1 inch ID tubing and hose clamp that are not included or described elsewhere. Also the 12V power cord is not very long. Plan accordingly. Durability is as yet, undetermined.

It was what I needed and met the need

So glad we bought it. That same week we were camping at a state park and used it after 5 days. It was was simple to use and did what it supposed to without any problems. I will update as we use it more than just this one time.

I had to go to 4 different hardware stores including ordering more parts on Amazon. This macerator does not include the connection to the exit valve which the black water exits after being chopped up. The first attempt at creating a part that would work ended up with black tank water everywhere. Second attempt worked but had to spend more time traveling back and forth and more money outspending the cost of the actual macerator. It would have been nice if they included the parts which are included in similar macerator at a cheaper price. The website is hard to navigate and useless.

Like-dose a good job when its working.Dislike -1. stoped working after the 3rd use. 2. I had to buy a Camco (22484) Water Bandit to connect to adapt the garden hose. At this price the pump should be plug and play out the box.We live full-time in a travel trailer and was looking to make things a little easier. We had to return the pump. It sucks and not in the way I payed for. We got our $ back and bought something really nice lol. #RV With TnT

If the motor is frozen up because of solids preventing motor spining, take the end cap off and spin the motor shaft with a hand tool. Generally, turning in the opposite direction will free up the macerator and you can return it to regular service.Fits very tight, but did not need to remove any plastic to make it fit. It fit in the same fashion as the OEM(Thetford Sani-con). Thetford no longer makes spare parts for their system.Bummer.
