Moss Creek Organic Wool Dryer Balls Eco Anti Static for Clothes Replaces Fabric Softener

Not only do they come in a super cute box, but they work just like they say they do. I see no difference in my laundry between using these and dryer sheets. My clothes are fine - soft, dry and no more or less static then with dryer sheets. Also, it doesn't matter that there's no scent to the dryer balls. My clothes still have the fragrance from my laundry detergent. I love using them instead of chemical dryer sheets.

These have all the attributes of the other brand, but they're $3 more. No chemicals, no wasted paper dryer sheets, no chemical softeners or scents.

I was super excited to get these, considering the cost of dryer sheets and that these would last a few years. I've now done a few loads of laundry (of various sizes and articles of clothing), and I have to say, I was very impressed at how much quicker my loads dried (though one was still every so slightly damp on the waistbands of pants, so I had to force it to go another ten minutes). My clothes are soft and it isn't that much louder (though you DO hear them). On the fourth load I did, of shirts and pants (cotton and poly blends both), there was WAY too much static left...like, I had to peel shirts apart and got a painful zap from the discharge...I ended up throwing the whole load back in with a dryer sheet and a wet sock for 15 minutes and that fixed it...but if I'm going to have to use dryer sheets anyway...sorta defeats the purpose. I'm not going to send them back, but I'm not AS impressed since static is not something I can live with (especially in my dress clothes for work...).

These are not effective against static.

Do not hold up as well as the Woolizes. Do'nt waste your money. After about 2 weeks started coming apart.

I recently gave these a try after my previous dryer balls needed replacing. First of all, there are only three balls in this set, and secondly, they're definitely on the small and squishy side. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them anyway, but it seemed like things definitely didn't dry as quickly as with my previous set, and I felt like my clothes came out more staticky too. I ended up just going back to a new set of the Timber Creek ones I'd had before. They do still work, just...not as well as I would have liked.
