My wife wanted a water bottle that did 3 things: didn't leak in her bag, could keep hot or cold drinks hot or cold, and could be opened without having to touch the part you drink out of (hygiene) This does all 3. No leaks, opens strongly but you don't grab the drinking spot so no contamination if your hands are dirty, and it definitely keeps temp for a long time. The outside is this pleasurable thin rubber that keeps you from dropping it and just looks cool. The almost wood pattern is nice. Love this
