Good buy, Great Quality, but check O2 line compatibility length
There are two sections to this review. The quality and the installationQUALITY:Overall this replacement torch is very sound and feels very durable. The product is well made. It is sturdy and comfortable to hold in your hand. There isn’t a safety cover over the button. If you barley push it and it turns on. Would this be good with someone starting out? Yes. As long as they remember safety. Would this be good for someone with experience, most definitely.Would I recommend the replacement, yes IF AND ONLY IF IT IS COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR O2 LINEINSTALLATION:I mainly purchased for the spacer. I wanted to use the original torch that came with my welder and I didn’t want a spacer that dragged on the surface I was cutting nor was I able to locate a double roller spacer made for the PT-31 under $15. I attempted to first install the roller but the diameter was too small. I figured it would have fit because it came with another PT-31. It did not. I noticed the diameter on the description later. Then I thought I would switch out just the heads. My version of the PT-31 has notches around the top that the head uses to slide into the handle. That wouldn’t work unless I filed the head down on the sides. Then I decided to go ahead, and switch out the handles. I unsoldered the switch on my OE torch. The. soldered it to the replacement.Everything was good. I was getting excited, then I went to install the head on the O2 line and found that the screw on spacer/head holder they include doesn’t allow you to tighten the nut on the line. It makes the line sit too far in. The nut on the incoming line has a swiveling nut so all it did was spin. The copper connector wasn’t long enough to push all the way through to let you tighten the coupler. I decided that I’d cut the spacer but before I did, I realized it held the head in between two plastic clips molded in the handle. If I cut it the head could pull on the O2 line and possible pull out, push in, or twist easily.I ended up put everything back in the original handle and decided to file the head to a square so it would fit in my OE handle since I was passed the return date.It took some time. I was able to get it to sit in my torch handle. Everything lined up well and works. After changing the head out I hit the tips mixed up but as I sat there playing with them discovered the tips were different and didn’t interchange between the two heads.I thought I should have returned it. Now I have to replace all my tips.I checked the listing for the tip types and discovered I could have returned it. Good job, Remedy! All of that said:1. If you want the rolling spacer, check the internal diameter of your head. Not the ceramic piece. the actual plastic portion.2. If you decide to use the whole torch in place of yours verify your O2 line will fit before you unsolder the switch.3. If you decide to modify it to fit your current one make sure the tips are interchangeable.4. Return it if you are not comfortable modifying the head to fit yours. The last photo shows the spacer and riverweld handle. The riverweld head stopped at the indented portion and did not come out as far as the original.

So far good!
So far I love it, it's really cheap but I love it has the trigger instead of a hard to press button on the back. Using it on a cut 50 plasma cutter. You'll need some small flat female spade connectors to change to this but we'll worth the time ,money &effort.

Torch is not a direct fit, guide wheel not universal, consumablesO. are good.
The media could not be loaded. The included replacement plasma gun is not a direct fit to replace the Amico Cut-30 plasma cutter gun as described. The switch will require soldering There is no included instructions on where to solder the existing wires in the OE gun, onto the new circuit board of the new switch. And it’s not obvious either. There’s no “+ or -“ or color code on the circuit board. It also appears the air hose stem inside the new gun is a different length from the OE gun, to the new gun. I’m not 100% sure it won’t fit, but I stopped the swap over after dick’n with the switch. I need to research more before I start blindly soldering in the new switch. I pray the Cut-30 has a circuit protection in place to protect my machine in case. The new trolley wheel (one of the main reasons to have purchased) is not universal with the OE gun. After filing a lip of the plastic off the OE gun to get the ring of the trolley to sit up far enough in place to securely tighten the consumables, it appears to be grounding out between the trolley and the metal in the gun. See the attached video of the small fire that occurred when touching the wheel to the metal subject. I can not say if the same event would occur if using the trolley with the new gun. I’m looking at some time with a dermal tool to widen the inside of the ring with the trolley to get it to sit on the ceramic piece of consumable on my old gun. Another user reviewed with the same situation. The consumables are good! Appear to be a decent quality and haven’t melted the metal tip away so far under normal use. Actually the price of this entire kit was a 1/3 cheaper then I paid for 10 sets of Cut-30 consumable I had bought off EBay. It does seem odd the Cut-30 consumables are unique to that machine. I see the other Amico larger machines are universal. If anyone happens to successfully wire in the push button switch of the new gun, please post up the technique and maybe some pics. It would be greatly appreciated. Over all, the kits decent, just not a plug and play even though both guns, OE and the new gun are both PT-31’s-D

Junk. Works.... kinda
I bought this because I thought the consumables were going to be a better value. They would have been, but this thing is so difficult to press and hold the button with welding gloves on that I switched back to the original head on my plasma cutter. The quality of the plastic is horrible. The splatter from the plasma cutter goes right into it. (which is not the case with the original cheap amazon plasma cutter torch.)Didn't install this until after the return window, so this is probably going in the giveaway bin.

Won't work for me
I needed to get my project done but I'll need to find a different solution. The fitting on the part is a different thread than my stock part. If I try to tighten it up it breaks loose again. The fitting is one size off.
