Rit Dye Powder-golden Yellow

If anyone is wondering if you can dye 3D printing resin with this you can (I tried). No comment on how well it dyes clothing.

I like the picture here. It looks like a darker golden yellow. However, when I received the boxes-the color looked much lighter. I was reluctant but figured I would give it a try (hey not everything is an exact match to what is advertised). Well Rit nailed it-it is an exact match to a T. It is a primary color-school classroom yellow. Rit is true to its colors! I am bummed, I am hoping I will be able to trust Rit Color Remover to take care of this!

I’ve only dyed fabric a handful of times and this was easy to use. I used this to dye fabric that was a mix of nylon/lycra and spandex. This fabric can be difficult to dye so I also used Rit’s Color Fixative. I needed this exact color, not pastel, not neon, golden. The fabric cane out beautifully and true to color. I’m very happy with the result.

I got this to dye a Gold finch sock yellow. It said it would work on nylon, well it doesn't.I followed the directions to the letter and also did it way longer because I kept checking it and it looked pale. When I finally took it out it looked slightly yellow but as it dried it all went away.I can't recommend this and would not buy this again.

Purchased this dye to make my daughters minion costume and it worked great! Almost the exact same color as the minion hat we had Purchased. I am not a big diyer and have never dyed clothes before the directions were relativity easyone you figured out which process you wanted to use ( bucket, sink, stove top, washing machine) i however didn't keep it in for the recommended time and took it out after 8 minutes as i had achieved the color i wanted i used the whole box which week dye up to 3 yards of fabric on just 1 onsie
