Not only is the price right for this pillowcase, but the material feels divine!! I've been sleeping on satin pillowcases for years. But recently I've noticed I can tell which side of my face I tend to sleep on most often. In researching this dilemma, recommendations from dermatologists is to sleep on silk pillowcases both for skin and hair. That's why after reading the description for several silk pillowcases I ordered this brand. I'm so happy I did! The case is soft and I can hardly tell it's next to my face! I wash them, I bought 2, using the gentle cycle and dry them in the dryer on the very gentle cycle. They come out completely without wrinkles and do not shrink. Hopefully more colors will be offered in future, but if not I'll most likely purchase two more. The envelope style keeps my pillows from coming out of their cases. I didn't want cases with zippers preferring the envelope style. I'm quite pleased with the product and with the price and highly recommend this case.

These are nice quality silk pillowcases and they arrived quickly. They were basically what I expected them to be. The only reason that I gave them 4 stars is that I didn't really like the plastic packaging they came in because even though the fabric appears to be natural/non-toxic, the packaging has a strong plastic/chemical smell, and the packaging is not very eco-friendly. But I just washed the pillowcases several times before using them and they were fine after that. I like to keep these on hand for travel and am probably going to order more so that everyone in the family can have one when we travel. I like to use them in hotels, etc, rather than having to wonder if the pillowcases on the hotel bed are actually clean or not. Silk pillowcases work well for this purpose since silk is very lightweight and easy to pack.

I love this pillow case so much that I just gifted it to a friend for her Birthday. It may be my new go to Birthday gift for everyone. I’m in my early 30’s and recently had my long hair cut short (and regret it) trying to go more low maintenance with a baby and kindergartener. Who knew short hair was so much work and that bed head was atrocious on short hair?! That’s when I researched silk pillowcases on Amazon to protect my short hair from breakage and cowlicks until it grows longer. I wake up with the soft, smooth, silky hair I worked so hard to create the night before and I feel like the pillowcase is better on my skin too. Really does work. My husband tried to play a joke on me by switching our pillows- and I woke up the next morning with frizz in my hair. I think I’ll buy him one too, because we all need our beauty sleep!

Update: These have lasted me more than 6 years!! At first I washed them on delicate and hung them to dry, but who has time for that? So these have been washed with my normal laundry settings and put in the dryer for 5+yrs and they’ve still held up all this time. Definitely highly recommend! Original Review: I ordered 19 and 22 momme mulberry silk pillowcases from several other companies and they were all terrible (felt super cheap, stiff, not very soft). I returned all of those, did some research, and eventually came across this brand and am SO happy I did! These are SO much nicer than any of the others I tried. They do feel delicate, so I do a gentle wash and hang dry, but the fabric is so soft. So happy with this purchase!

This changed my whole life around! Through most of my life, I’ve been using satin pillowcases. After I read an article about the benefits of silk pillowcases for natural hair (as well as reading how polyester fibers cling onto sweat and bacteria 🤢) I quickly made the switch. Well, I’ve had this silk pillowcase for a year and LOVE IT! The material soooo soft and buttery against my face compared to satin, and I’ve noticed major improvement in my hair. After I make enough savings, I’m definitely going to buy more pillowcases, a fitted sheets, and hair ties made of silk 💕

It's nicely made but wow do I get hot using this. It's a bit like using a satin pillowcase which is similar to saran wrap when it comes to breathability.

The quality of the silk is immediately apparent = very soft and wonderful to sleep on........ I was so happy with it, I immediately ordered a second one to use while the first is being washed! I cannot imagine sleeping on a cotton pillowcase ever again. Before ordering, I looked at all the silk pillowcases on Amazon - but this one impressed me for two reasons: 1) It is OEKO-TEX certified to be free of chemicals and naturally dyed; 2) It has an envelope style closure with a generous 8" flap. The pillowcase was nicely packaged (perfect for a gift). The pillowcase had no smell whatsoever and felt 'clean' so I didn't wash it before using it for the first time. Highly, highly recommend.
