OK...Is fresh miso soup more delicious? Yes. But it’s a process. This is a fast fantastic alternative and can be a snack, light lunch, or accompaniment to a meal. After living in Japan and eating something similar, I took a chance and bought it. It was exactly what I expected. I even purchased this for my picky aunt who loved the convenience and the taste..and this is a woman who makes Miso soup from scratch (shaving the dried bonito fish and all for dashi). You can also add toppings like a soft boiled egg or a little bit of Kim chee for additional flavor.

Purchased for Amano Foods' long-established reputation for the high quality and superb taste.Really, this is NOT one of those Miso Soups found everywhere these days.Instant, yes. But, it doesn't taste like anything we know as "instant."(Amano Foods' Freeze-dry process is second to none, tested by Japan's picky consumers!)Good Points:1) Delivered in a securely packaged box which is always a huge plus.(Many sellers ship just using bubble wrappers or no protective material at all.)2) 15 Kinds of Miso SoupNot just 15 kinds.Many are not available anywhere ;)3) Good Taste & QualityProbably the best out there.4) Decent Expiration DateBest until June 2020.Again, so many sellers care about they sell.Everything Japanese, we have to pay 2~3 times more.So, 8 months of expiration is greatly appreciated.(Wish we could get Amano that lasts years for emergency.)

if you usually have a bowl of rice with every meal but are cutting calories, then these are great! they have about 8 grams of salt each, and they have vegetables in them as well. a couple I got also came with clams! I have one everyday for lunch.

I got these to take camping with us as a quick appetizer while we make food. All you need is a jet boil and you’re ready to go.They are from japan. There is no English on the packages but there is a “key” print out that comes in the box.The flavors are amazing with a large diversity. There are actually large pieces of greens and onions and shellfish in the packets, just like the photos show. I was actually shocked at how high the quality is. I’ve bought them twice so far in 12 months. Highly recommended.

I received my package "15 different types of 30 count miso-soup," But it was 12 different of 24 counts. I love these products. Because of its good quality, enjoy all different tastes, and perfect to add one more for your meals or lunch pack. I was very disappointed when I found out missing twelve counts total. Hopefully, we will get some answers from customer services soon.

I've been buying Amano Food's freeze-dried Miso soups for many years. I always want to have them in stock. I almost can't live without them. I can make Miso Soup at home from scratch, but when I want to make it just for myself quickly, the freeze-dried soups are very handy. It's also good for emergency food stock because it has a long shelf life, and quick & easy to make with just hot water. In addition, Miso is a fermented food, therefore, it's good for your health! In my opinion, Amano Food is one of the best, leading Japanese companies for freeze-dried Miso soups.
