Lightweight base layer for your head
I shopped for a thin ear warmer or skull cap that would keep the chill off my ears while nordic skiing, winter hiking with my dogs, and early or late season road cycling. When nordic skiing or hiking I wear several thin hoodies so that I can pull the hoods down or unzip as needed to adjust to my body heat. Typical winter hats are often fine at first but become too warm as I build up body heat. This cap was such a nice surprise. It's the first "one size fits all" that actually felt comfortable to me (22 3/4" hat size). When I ordered I thought I would probably have to return it like most other stretch products but it fit really well with no stretching or tightness. Just enough material to keep my ears warm, but very thin so it works under my helmet or hoodies. The slots for glasses make it even better since I wear glasses every moment I am awake. This is a really nice comfortable cap if you're looking for a thin lightweight base layer.

Just right
I bought this for cool/cold rides > 32 degrees F. Arrived exactly as pictured, snug fit fully covers ears and sunglass slots are well placed. Very comfortable and very warm while still being thin - fits perfectly under helmet. Highly recommend this product - great function for the price

Does the job
Overall good. Fits well. It’s warm which is good for fall/winter. Glasses hole is gimmicky and does not work reliably.

Cycling in cooler weather essential!!
This cap was a lifesaver on a recent cycling trip to northern England/Scotland! Kept the head warm and dry under the helmet.

its perfect
I love this little skull cap. It fits really well under my cycling helmet. It is a little big. The selling point for me was the ability to wear my glasses while riding and keeping my head and ears warm. It is perfect for that.

It's light
I have a bunch of these caps. I use them cycling. This is the lightest one I have, I've been using it when the temp is in the 50s, or high 40s. I used it today when it was in the mid 40s, and it wasn't enough. Of course, this depends a lot on you, how hard you exercise, and how tolerant you are of the cold. Don't get me wrong, I like this cap, it's light and cheap and comfy. But I have others, and I like some of them more. I've had most of them for 10-20 years, I don't know if any of them are still made; or are the same. In any case, with the medium thick beanies, I have to take the pads out of my helmet, the one I have is ok into the 40s. I have a thick beanie that I used with a helmet I got for cold weather riding. It's just too big to go under a typical snug helmet. I needed a size larger. The big thing is the ears. This one isn't very good at blocking genuinely cold air. My medium thick beanie has a problem with that, as well. Of course, you need to remember that, as a cyclist, I get more wind, more of the time, than most.

Just what I needed under my motorcycle helmet
Nice for under my motorcycle helmet and it doesn't squeeze my head and it sits just low enough to cover my ears. Thin enough to fit under my helmet while still being warm.

Exactly what I needed, and exactly as described.
I wear glasses so I need something that doesn't interfere with them. This is exactly what I needed. Keeps my head warm, my glasses stems slide right in, and it reduces some wind noise(not all, but it helps). The fit is just right for my medium sized head, and the elastic cuff holds it in place. I like that it doesn't pinch my head the way a knit hat can, but still provides the warmth I need while fitting under my helmet easily. I'm also grateful for the reduction in wind noise without drowning out the street noise so I can stay aware of cars. Will definitely buy again when I need another.

Klare 5 Sterne!
