Awesome gun
This is a great little gun. Unfortunately, there are a couple of things that can cause it to misfunction that are not mentioned in the directions or anywhere online. My son was so upset when his gun wouldn't work that I kept working with it until I figured out what I did wrong. I even went to the store and bought brand new batteries. 1- make sure you have the bullets or darts in correctly. If not, they will jam and cause issues. If this happens, the motor will not turn on and you will think the gun doesn't work or the batteries are dead. 2-the clip has to click in place for the motor to work. If it doesn't click, remove the clip and see if you have a jammed dart. 3-this is in the directions but just know you have to hold the acceleration button and the trigger for it to shoot. My son LOVES this gun and I love how the Modulus pieces are interchangeable.

Solid weapon, solid performance worth of Nerf's product line.
Nerf's modulus line is nice due to its ability to swap components over several makes and models. This one is a battery operated flywheel fed gun. The magazine holds 10 darts and like most of nerfs line of dart guns can be interchanged so the double barrel magazine from my son's chain gun will fit in the modulus. The gun itself is not too thick and can be fired one handed if necessary. The accuracy and force with which the darts fly is good if you are with in 5 feet of a target area, anything beyond that range you are asking a lot of a toy dart gun. The grenade launcher is a simple pop gun model where you extend the cooking mechanism and pull it back to launch the grenade. It seems flimsy but really has some force behind and had my kids ducking to avoid getting hit. The gun features several attachment points for having it be shoulder slung as well as a secondary rail on the side of the gun to mount additional optics. The barrel will accept several of the modulus extensions and didn't affect overall performance or accuracy. A solid "Dad's" weapon for keeping trigger happy kids a bay.

No successor, but its just an alright blaster.
For any kids or parents just wanting a little kid to have fun with a gun, this gun is perfect. The addition of missiles doesn't hurt, and the gun overall is fun and easy to use. I will review this as a professional nerfer. The blaster didn't accept my third party darts, something about the tips threw off the flywheel and it got jammed with third party darts and often shredded the heads a bit. It works just fine with regular nerf darts but I must mention this. The blaster is just a semi auto gun, not much to say about it. It is a stryfe with the bulky addition of a missile. In nerf wars, they don't really contribute a ton, but its fun to shoot a missile. Overall its just a semi auto gun, not much else to say.

works consistantly
Sturdy gun unlike others I've purchase that quit working.

Missile launcher!
Easy to use battery powered blaster. Shoots mega missiles which is super fun, especially when you get to see the missile flying through the air like an atomic bomb! Fast speed with a good capacity 10-dart banana magazine. Hasn't jammed once since I've gotten it. Good price as well when I bought it. My only complaint is that there should be more missiles but you can easily buy more from eBay or other sources. Overall, love this blaster and is an awesome choice for the Modulus series or just Nerf blasters overall!

bang bang
Works great in the office. Don't hit someone with the "rocket" as close range they do hurt.

Dosent work well with darts
The rocket part of the gun is awesome works flawlessly but Iโve found that with most of the darts I have it will jame everytime and the only darts that work are the ones that come with it. My darts are normal nerf darts the blue foam ones with the orange tip but they seem to just not work with this gun which takes the exact same ammo.

Stryfes Hate Him! This One Weird Trick Changes the Entire Blaster
(In the video, I'm using Ikea rechargeable AA batteries, with Adventure Force darts, loaded into an official Nerf 18-dart magazine. Needless to say, none of these things come with the blaster.) It's basically a Nerf Stryfe with an added underbarrel rocket launcher. The launcher has no trigger; you just slide the pump forward, and then slide it back hard to shoot it. This could be a little tricky for a kid, but I'm pretty sure they could get used to it. The dart blaster is semi-automatic; you hold down the smaller trigger to rev up the flywheels, and then pull the main trigger to shoot one dart at a time. It's got a very nice trigger response, since pulling the trigger immediately pushes a dart into the flywheels. It's also magazine-fed with a standardized pattern, which is very nice for cross-compatibility across your--or your kid's--burgeoning arsenal... Though it's annoying that Hasbro has stopped selling extra mags separately. In terms of what comes in the box, I'm disappointed that for bearing the Modulus paint job, it doesn't come with all the extra accessories that it came with back when it was being sold at brick-and-mortar retailers--but I guess beggars can't be choosers. The included stock is great, though; it's very sturdy, long enough for both kids and adults to use, and it holds an extra rocket. It's also detachable--again using a standardized connector--meaning you can use it with other Nerf blasters too. The point about it basically being a Stryfe with a rocket launcher is important, because this is much more front-heavy than a Stryfe--to the point where you can't use this blaster one-handed, while you can one-hand a Stryfe. If you're a performance-oriented Nerfer and you're playing in Nerf wars where rockets aren't given extra value or function, then you're probably better off just getting a Stryfe. It's less than half the price--at least here on Amazon Canada--and you won't be carrying around what amounts to dead weight. The fact it's lighter too might also make the Stryfe better for small kids, since this blaster could end up being a little unwieldy for them. None of this is to knock the Demolisher though. This blaster is ridiculously fun because of just this one change Hasbro made to it, and if you just want it for fun, then go right ahead. And if you're a performance-oriented Nerfer who plays in Nerf wars that *do* give rockets extra value or function, then this is basically the most practical rocket-firing blaster you could bring. So yeah, the Demolisher is exactly what it looks like--if that looks great to you, then definitely get it.

Bit disappointing, all bullets get stuck
Tried all types of bullets and always getting stuck, very frustrating. My son spent a lot of his birthday money on it and can never make it through a full magazine without getting stuck

My son loves it!
It was a great idea putting two guns into one! It jammed a couple of times, but it's fine now. My son loves it so much!
