Standard antenna spring. Heavy duty with good flex range it will definitely take some stress off the antenna.

I haven't installed this yet so can't speak as to performance but it appears to be well built. It has a nice bringt finish but not shiny like a chromed one and, being stainless, it's unlikely to end up looking like a rusty mess in a couple of years, which is why I bought this one to replace the one I currently have installed on my vehicle. If I encounter any issues with it I will post an update. Amazon's price was good.

Well I've had this spring for a couple weeks and it turns out it's a real P.O.S.🥺 so the jumper inside of the spring is a couple of copper wires that have broken and left the spring useless as far as being a physical part of a 102" whip system. I am going to try to modify it with some copper braid. So I don't suggest anyone use the workman spring unless you feel like modifying a brand new spring to work.😡

No signs of rust after a few months outside. I used this SS spring to replace another chrome spring that totally rusted away after a year.

This thing is like a tank, it takes a beating and I can't imagine it going anywhere once it's secure.

Unfortunately the top of the spring where the antenna actually screws is has fallen off, causing my 102 to go flying down on the side of the road somewhere. It was fairly easy to install, but I will not be purchasing this again.

Be aware. Mine broke after 6 months when center post wires corroded inside spring. This spring has a 30 day Amazon return policy, no warranty from seller.
