Paper Mate 9560131 Flexgrip Ultra Retractable Ballpoint Pens, Fine Point, Blue Ink, 12-Pack

Comfortable, smooth, effortless writing. That’s what these pens offer. I have tried many times but have yet to find any other fine point pen that writes as smoothly as these do, so I’ve been using ONLY these (in black and blue) since I first discovered them about 15-17 years ago. I sincerely hope Papermate never stops making them! In the meantime, I now buy them by the box so I will be assured of not running out.

Pros: 1) Doesn't bleed the ink yet reasonably smooth writing. 2) The shade of the blue color ink is neither too dark nor too faint - Just perfect Cons: 1) I like 0.7mm tip but this one has 0.8mm tip. This is the only economical yet very good blue ballpoint pen that I could get in USA after few months of rigorous search. I feel "Paper mate" is a good brand compared to others

As an educator I need a pen that's reliable and comfortable to use. Also, if I need to loan it to someone, I need something inexpensive enough to forget about if it never comes back (usually the case). This one fits the bill.

Very disappointed with these pens! More than half of them got thrown out because the ink was dried up, the rest dried up very fast. Must have been sitting for 25 years on a shelf somewhere. These were my favorite pens for many, many years, using them for accounting work that required small, thin, and precise lines. Time to find another brand.

These pens are perfect for everyday writing. The grips is comfortable and ink is not runny. It is retractable the color of the ink is a true blue. These provide a smooth writing feeling.

I got these on the Amazon Warehouse for about $3 for a 12-pack and, at that price, I'm very pleased with the purchase. At their regular price, however, I'd have to give them a 4-star rating. While the ink flow is very smooth and even, the build quality is rather lightweight. The body is not as non-slip as I would like it to be, and they are not as comfortable as other pens I've used at about the same price point. Still, it's a decent pen at a decent price. If you can get it on a price dip (ideally at or below $4 for the pack) it's well worth getting. At the regular price I'd suggest going with BIC (which are cheaper but perform pretty well) or ones from Pilot (which are more expensive, but also better quality).

Considering the price of these pens, they are very smooth and writes well. Better than more expensive pens. Paper Mate did a good job on this one. For the price, you can't beat it. Would buy again.

There is something about these pens that make them feel like the Cadillac of pens; the feel in hand is great, they write smoothly and typically don't need to be scribbled to start working after weeks of non-use. I think the only thing that would make me change is if I found a pen that feels equally good in hand, and has an even smoother writing ball.

Worst product. 10 rupee pen is be st.very low-level. Pls don't waste your time.papermate was a brand.not now . Disappointed
