Fuses are fuses. This seem to be fine and are inexpensive enough.

This is a nice collection of different ATC blade fuses. It covers most of the common values and can get you out of a jam if a critical fuse blows. The included tester/puller works pretty well. It can test blade fuses for a variety of sizes, but is very unwieldy to use in some tight spaces. Unless you're positioned perfectly, which isn't always possible, it's hard to see the indicator light. The fuse puller portion works pretty well, but with the same limitations in cramped spaces. When using the tester, the circuit you're testing has to be loaded since it's indicating voltage drop between the two sides of the fuse. If the circuit isn't completed when the tester's put in place, there's no return path for the power and the light won't light. To test a fuse on an open circuit, you'd have to use a multimeter and compare both sides against ground (assuming the fuse is on the 'hot' side of the circuit) or just use an ohmmeter with the fuse pulled.

Bussman is a brand I trust. They are more expensive than the off brand fuses and you get less...but I trust them to blow at the right amperage. Ive seen cheap fuses go way past their rating before they blow or have wires burn before they blow. Genuine name brand fuses like bussman are pretty tightly manufactured. Its worth it to pay a little more for a fuse than burn down an entire vehicle.

These are quality fuses that actually break at the correct amps unlike most of the garbage for sale on this site. If you care about safety and quality get these.

I always need fuses it seems, and never have the right one available. This assortment has several fuses in each of the common sizes from 5 amp to 30 amp. PLUS, there's a bonus. The fuse puller also has sliding contacts and a light that can be placed against the terminals of the fuse and tell you if the fuse is good... if it lights up, the fuse is good. Don't use it with the fuse installed, BTW. So, a good assortment of quality fuses (Buss has been in business for decades), plus an extraction tool that also can check the fuses... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Bon kit de fusible, le tester est OK. L’épaisseur des lames est adéquate et de 25 mils. Dans certain kit cheap de fusibles les lames n’ont même pas 20 mils d’épaisseur et donc pas terrible pour le contact électrique. Certains commentaires anglais se plaignent de ne pas pouvoir tester les fusibles en place. C’est ridicule, si tu vois un gars tester un fusible en place change de garage...

Positif: Le kit est bien malgré le prix. Une bonne variété de fusible ATC seulement Ils sont bien identifiée en blanc au lieu de juste un marquage dans le plastique difficile à voir Le testeur de fusible est intéressant pour connaître si le problème est plus loin que la fusible. Il sert également à aider à retirer la fusible se qui peut être intéressant dans les endroits exegu ou quand ils sont tres bien pris en serre. Négatif L'emballage est désastreux. Je pensais avoir seulement à ouvrir le boitier en plastique, de prendre ma fusible et de le refermer par la suite pour la prochaine fois. Il s'avère qu'ils ont décidé de celler les côtés à chaud faisant en sorte que l'ont doivent complètement détruire l'emballage pour accéder aux fusibles. Tu as un kit de fusible c'est quand même pas pour être utilisé d'un seul coup. L'emballage a de beaux compartiments pour chaques groupes de fusibles mais il faut le détruire pour y accéder. Donc je vais devoir me chercher un boitier pour y mettre mes fusibles qui seront surement toutes mélangées... Vraiment pas fort de Eaton/Bussmann!!!

I bought this to replace a blown cigaret lighter fuse on 2012 Mercedes R350. The test function is handy to confirm fuse status. Puller function works also.
