Works great for anti-flutter purposed
Works great for anti-flutter purposed. After a tree fell on my SUV and the roof had to be removed and replaced, they neglected to use the correct product to adhere the roof to the support members. I lost all trust in the repair shop and decided to fix it myself. I pulled out the headliner, removed the hard caulking they installed (which wasn't even adhered to the panel anyway) and applied this foam where it was supposed to be. There's not more panel fluttering while driving now. When shutting the doors, the roof panel doesn't make a rattling noise any more either. It cures very quickly so don't linger for long. You don't need much as it expands up to 10:1. You'll need the applicator tool. I used the COX M200LVMR COX M200LVMR 100 ml. x 100 ml. Cartridge Low Viscosity Manual Epoxy Applicator and it worked perfectly. Like I said, don't linger long or you'll be constantly changing mixing tips. Buy extra tips if you won't be using it all at once as they aren't reusable.

Good luck!
Unless your going to use this whole tube in the first use then you better have alot of tips because you wont get much done because it hardens in the tip extremely fast

Got a bad one, had to get another.
Expensive, but not many options for this type of foam. It works like it should as long as you can get it out of the tube.

Flex foam
This is a review of 3M Flex Foam 08463. From what I was able to find, this is about as close as the factory foam you can find. This is used between sheet metal and frame for doors, hoods, roofs, etc. My application was for the hood. First off, there is a definite learning curve to this. It expands more than I though it would but doesn't push against the sheet metal, just oozes out until it sets, which is VERY fast. I need to repeat that, VERY fast! I ruined my first mix nozzle because is stopped for no more than 10 seconds to grab a rag and it set in the nozzle. I replaced it and as long as I kept a fairly constant flow, it worked for the entire hood. As you can see, I used more than I needed in spots, and it dripped all over the hood, but its getting painted so no biggie. It will continue to flow out of the nozzle even when you stop applying pressure on the gun so be ready for that. Now for the result. The factory foam was gone, so the hood flexed a lot. Once the new foam set, it was good as new should have been. No flexing and all of the bracing it snug against the sheet metal. This foam stays flexible, it does not harden, so there is the slightest bit of give, which is what you want for temp changes. Now that I have used it and have a working knowledge, I can say it was just what I was looking for. Just keep in mind that is sets very quick and once you start using it you cant stop or it will set inside the nozzle.

Quality products as always
Used this to stop excess panel vibration on a deck lid, I have used this for many years and it is the most consistent I have found. it will dampen the ring of tinny sheetmetal.
