I had been looking for something like this box for self treatment. So happy to find this awesome bamboo healing box from Amazon. The box is so easy to use, the hole on the both side allow the air flowing in so the maxin can continuously burn. I like it comes with the adjustable holder so I can adjust the maxin without burning my skin. This is well made bamboo box , higHly recommended.

Perfect for moxibustion spot healing. Works great. Only complaint the top is a little hard to off and put back on.

This thing has made using moxa poles so much easier and safer! We learned in acupuncture school that these moxa boxes were a bad idea, but the design of these new boxes take a lot of the scariness out of using a hot moxa pole, as the fine screen design doesn't allow moxa ash to get through and hurt you! I'm going to add to my selection with the 2- and 4-pole variants of this for use on different areas of the body - this one is perfect for smaller, curves areas like knees, ankles, and wrists.

It would give it 4 stars if the lid can be closed a bit more easier. For the worth of money, it work as expected and in reasonable quality.
