I started taking 2 capsules daily (half dose) of this Marine Collagen from the first day of my last cycle. Even with a half dose, it caused an 8-day delay in my period and severe sleep disruption/joint aches.After analyzing the ingredients, I realized each serving contains Iodine (Potassium Iodine), which directly stimulates the thyroid gland. If you live in the UK and regularly consume milk (dairy) and eggs daily, your body already gets enough iodine. Adding this marine complex can lead to iodine overload, delaying ovulation and disrupting your menstrual cycle.While it works wonders for bruising and wound healing due to collagen peptides, please be cautious of the hormonal side effects if your body is sensitive to iodine. I switched to a pure bovine (iodine-free) collagen instead.

Easy to swallow and good price

Rather large capsules but easy to swallow . Definately made a difference to my skins appearance. Skin looks plumper and healthier .Will be ordering my 3rd bottle soon . Only negative , 2nd bottle had 119 capsules but still a great product
