First of all, let's talk about the assembly. My dad put this thing together in a few minutes-literally. My fire pit opening is 17.5" and the size glass I ordered is perfect for the opening. It does have written on each side of the glass the warning that it's hot. But the writing is not distracting to the beauty of the glass. It seems very sturdy. We used it on a very windy day and it didn't budge. I could've used a smaller size for the size of my table top which is only 28" wide but I'm happy with the width of the glass because the glass does block some of the heat from coming your way. So the smaller the enclosure the more contained the fire will be. Even though it does block some of your heat I still feel safer with it around the pit and the look is so elegant. I'm very happy with my purchase and the ease of assembly. 5 stars all the way.

If this wasn't $50, I'd likely not bother writing a review. But for $50, to receive one with surface scratches on some of the glass, missing one of the rubber pieces that you put over the screw that makes contact with the glass (the instructions clearly state not to use against glass without rubber piece), and outdated instructions (says you get 4 top brackets and 4 bottom brackets...no, you get 8 of the exact same brackets and the pictures of the brackets in the instructions make you thing you don't have all the part high need), is annoying. I'll use the product and see how it goes bur for $50...ensure that the little things are correct please.

Great quality and price. This wind guard is a great addition to any gas fire pit. It is beautiful and functions well at blocking wind. It was easy to put together, and is very sturdy. It also comes with all the tools you need for assembly. Love it. Highly recommend!

The glass fire surround is well made and easy to assemble. Went together in a few minutes. It looks stylish on the fire table and keeps the wind from whipping the flames about. I feel much safer sitting around the table now than I did before when a gust of wind would blow the flames towards me. It does block some of the heat though but not enough to enjoy the outdoor fire any less. I'm glad I bought it.

We wouldn't have known this existed had it not been for a prior review with photo on Amazon. So glad we purchased this - easy to assemble and perfect fit around the glass top fire pit we purchased. Helps on a windy day/night to keep the fire from blowing all over and enhances the look and ambiance of the fire pit. Rubber "feet" on all four corners prevents scratching - easy lift on and off. Definitely an enhancement!

Product is exactly what we needed. we have a bit of a wind tunnel in our backyard and the gas fire table was not being used to the fullest extent. the glass blocks the wind well allowing us to enjoy our fire. it does keep the heat in a bit, but that is fine, this is more for ambiance than it is heat. very simple to assemble. it even came with a small screw driver.

Great product! Fast shipping, secure packaging. We purchased 2 of these for our fire pillars, they were easy to assemble and handle the heat well. We installed an 18" burner in the center and it is an awesome upgrade to our pool area. We're still debating on the black lava rock or the white sand / clear glass application.
