Don't buy this if you want to use push pins.Be wary of the many paid reviews on this item.This memo board is not what I expected. The board is advertised as "any type of pins" can be used, and is shown frequently sold together with push pins. Several of the paid reviewers said they use push pins on it. However, the memo board I received is burlap with a hardboard backing, and push pins cannot be used on this board. I tried using straight pin, and can be used on some areas of the board, but not on areas where it is glued down.

Really disappointed with this product. It's not a cork board at all - the board part is so hard it's nearly impossible to stick push pins in and when you finally do they don't stay. I wish I had realized it in time to return it.
