LG "49UN73006LA 49"" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV with webOS" [Energy Class A+]

We needed a new TV but not one of such ridiculous proportions it would look stupid, everyone I know have gone for another brand starts with S ends in sung and all have said what a wonderful brand they are but having read a lot of reviews it looks as if they suffer their fair shar of problems, I've had LG for years so this came with all the features the other brand offered but at a much better price.Unboxing the product was a pleasant experience its well packaged and the TV is really well made with more features than I thought we were getting.The guy that delivered was an shining example of what a driver should be, even in these times, as he offered to bring the TV upstairs ( i live in a first floor flat and I consider myself fit and healthy) which I wasn't expecting.

Fast delivery.. very good communication. Has plenty of features.. brilliant sound and picture. My Son is very pleased. Would definitely recommend.

easy to navigate, good colour

All around really good but a few gripes.Firstly saturation is a bit high with vivid color and make things seem too saturated and colorful.Secondly there is noticeable input latency for if you plan to use this as a monitor or for gaming.Otherwise perfect.

We bought this "smart" TV so we could get rid of the Humax box we needed with our old TV. However it is very disappointing as not only did we have to buy a memory stick in order to record anything but even with the memory stick the TV will only record the programme you are watching. You cannot record one channel whilst watching another so it is almost useless. Never mind, we thought, at least we have the catch up channels. Wrong again! The only catch up channel available on this TV is BBC I-player! No ITV Hub, All 4 or My5. We were better off keeping our £400 and staying with our "unsmart" TV with the Humax box. LG refuse to take it back and issue a refund as in their eyes there is "nothing wrong with it". Do not buy this product if you are looking for a Smart TV because our dog is smarter than this one.

Picture quality very grainy on this model. Colours aren't great. Worst of all it took 4 failed attempts for Hughes Elecrical to pick up the tv and now 9 days later they still haven't got any where near refunding me. Customer services come across aa helpful but appears as a delay tactic to not refund product. I would not recommend Hughes Electricals.

Arrived with a broken screen. Bag with remote control was inside box and paced beside screen. Pressure caused the screen to fracture.

1. Great TV, really like the sound and the video quality. 10/10 on that front for a TV this price.2. The Magic Remote shipped with this device really sets it apart from the normal LG remote. 10/10 for this front.3. It is advertised as having Google Home compatibility however I'm unable to connect this TV to Google Home (I can see the Alexa setup application on the TV but not Google Home) - really disappointed with this as purchased the TV thinking I could set it up with my Google Nest Hub.UPDATEWith a new OS update on my TV - I have now been able to connect the Google Nest Hub so I can now use commands like 'hey google turn on/off tv' 'open netflix/youtube/prime app on tv'. One thing I am disappointed with still is for a TV that is publicised as having a full integration with Google AI, I am unable to set the TV as default video in the Google Home app. However, atleast the TV works now with the Google Home app so happy with that!
