Good coverage, no leaks, but what for the velcro
Easy to clean and these don't seem to stain if they are well rinsed. Be careful attaching the velcro though; if you aren't careful the tab edges rub on baby's leg. Ouch! It would be nice if the tabs weren't as sharp edged, or were sewn to cover the edges. That would undoubtedly increase the price.

I've tried a lot of different covers
As a new mom, I have gone through 7 or 8 different covers to find one that worked for me. This is the one. I read a lot of reviews on Amazon and really picked up the hype about snap closures and how they last longer and preform better....but my kid grows faster than any closure's life. I have given away all of the snap-closure covers and only use this now. I LOVE this cover for a few reasons:1. Changing is fast and easy. Trying to get snaps to snap when she is squirming is nothing I want to do again. I can look at her and make faces while I'm putting this on and it takes about a third of the time.2. I have inserts (from all of the other diaper covers I bought), thin cloth diapers and really thick ones. This cover fits them all.3. High back, high front, the only leaks I've had are from lagging on changing out the wet ones.4. Its soft and looks comfortable. Not super bulky depending on what size diaper is underneath.5. High quality construction, durable. No sign of the velcro wearing out after lots of washes and dries.6. You can use pins or snappis, but the cover holds it in place without.7. (and this one is the best) There is no fleece liner. I don't know how you are supposed to stick your hand inside the pee-soaked liner pockets on some of these diapers without getting your hand wet and stinky. Then there is the little matter of a dirty fleece liner touching her skin. No thanks. With this cover it is a fresh, clean diaper on her and the only part that really gets dirty is the seam around the legs which only happens if there is an insert instead of a diaper. The only drawback, which I think matters so little I still gave it 5 stars is the fact that the velcro is a little scratchy and if the cover is not flattened out behind to cover her skin when you initially change the diaper it can leave a red patch on the upper thigh. Totally preventable with some awareness.I highly recommend this cover. I have also used the wool one from Imse Vimse and love that one as well although this one stays drier on the outside. If you could only get one cover, get this one.

leaks, scratches the skin, does not last more than 4 months
At first we were very happy with those diaper covers but with time we grew more and more disappointed and now I cannot imagine a worse cover! Why we don't like them:1) The biggest problem for us is that the velcro tab always scratches the gentle skin of our baby, so we always have to put a body on our girl and make sure the tabs are as far from the skin as possible. I tried to fix the problem myself by cutting and sewing the edges, but the material is just too rough and keeps on cutting into the skin of our daughter. Sometimes the scratches are so deep that the blood comes out!!!2) Approx after 3 months of intensive use the velcro tabs stopped sticking together! So they still scratch our baby but they dont hold the diaper closed!3) They leak! They don't hold more than 1 pee. They get completely soaked easily and the clothes get all wet as well! They do have some positive sides I must admit:1) They are soft and breathable, we never had a problem with Alida having a diaper rash or "green house" moisture effect on her skin.2) they fit great over fitted diapers and are very trim.3) the sizing is very "strechable". Since our daughter was 2 months we have used only NewBorn and Small size covers till this day (she is 7 months now). The newborn cover still fits her ok (Alida weighs 8 kg now).so there ARE some positive sides, but this scratching issue + the fact that they don't last more than 4 months (the tabs stop sticking)made us completely unsatisfied with the product. We move on to Thirsties Duo and Gen-Y covers.

Good cover
This was a good quality cover that worked well. I'm not crazy about Velcro or covers that come in more than four sizes, so it wasn't my favorite, but it did the job.

The best cloth diaper covers!
These are so awesome if you are going to be using cloth diapers. There's no special folding, no pins, they are awesome. They also protect well from leaks. Just get the right size for each age and you will be satisfied.

Good diaper cover, not perfect
The Imse Vimse covers are nice in that they are roomy enough for a fitted diaper, fit well around the waist & legs and will contain even big messes. They also hold up well in the wash; I've put them in the same sanitizing cycle as the diapers and dried them both on the line and in the dryer with good results. Their lightweight construction helps them to dry very quickly, too. The seams are smooth, nothing to scratch your diaperee's skin, and the cover is available in several styles & prints. However: the lack of laundry tabs on the fastening sides mean that you either need to re-fasten the soiled cover when placing it into the laundry pail (kind of a pain as this might require both hands), or deal with the resulting "laundry snake" when the loose hook & loop fasteners snag other items in the wash. Additionally, these come in separate sizes rather than incorporating the "growth snaps" used by some other brands; this means that you will need to purchase more than one set of covers as your diaperee grows.

soft and dependable
I purchased a variety of covers when my daughter was born and any Imse Vimse cover has been wonderful! The Soft Cloth covers don't have the greatest velcro, after many washes/uses the tabs start to roll, but the Day covers and Organic covers have a more secure velcro. These soft covers are thinner though, which is great for fitting under clothes. The leg gathers are wonderful too, especially if your baby has chubby thighs. By far the best diaper cover for the price!!!!
