Very good for the facial skin
The media could not be loaded. First of all, you need to know before buying essential oil that these are concentrates. Each has a fairly strong scent on its own and leaves a stain because they are usually oily in base. Most of it itself cannot be used with alone, just with carrier oil.An essential oil is authentic and certainly of quality if it has a good strong and intense aroma. If you want to use this, it’s a good idea before to read a little on which herb is for what. Because improper use can also cause problems. Therefore, a company or a brand cannot be blamed. :)Pure Rice Bran Oil is excellent for blending cosmetics.Refreshes the skin.Greenwood products are a guarantee to me.So usually from their products too, I make something for family and friends. Soap, shampoo, bubble bath and various oils. Very good and natural base material to add.If you have a quality product at an affordable price I would definitely recommend it.I really like it and the other products of the brand as well.

A multi-purpose oil used by Geishas to improve their complexion
Botanical Name: Oryza sativa. Common name: Rice or Rice Bran Oil. Rice Bran Oil has been used for more than 2,000 years throughout Asia. Today, it continues to be used for soap and skin cream manufacturing, especially in Japan. Historically, Japanese Geishas would add the water that remained after washing rice to their baths after discovering its ability to cleanse, soften, moisturize, soothe, nourish, and smooth the skin, which slowed the look of aging and brightened the complexion.Rice Bran Carrier Oil is derived from the Bran of the Rice grains by both Expeller Pressing and Solvent Extraction. Cold pressed is best. Solvent extraction uses Hexane which is nasty, avoid it if possible.Chemical Analysis: The main chemical constituents of Rice Bran Carrier Oil are: Oleic Accid (Omega 9) 35 - 50 % , Linoleic Acid ( Omega 6) 29 – 45 % , Alpha Linolenic Acid (Omega 3 ) 3 % , Palmitic Acid 12 – 18 % , Stearic Acid 0.5 - 4 % , Arachidic Acid 1.2 % , Eicosenoic Acid 1 % Myristic acid 0.6%. Also contains Orezanoc which is a vitamin B derivative which helps to regenerate skin, also Vitamin E, Squalene, Coenzyme Q10, and Ferulic Acid.Because the oil is very rich in essential fatty acids, it helps to restore the natural lipid barrier system of the skin. Rice Bran Oil is also rich in natural forms of vitamin E, antioxidants and other micronutrients which help to fight free radicals and combat the effects of aging.Rice bran oil is sometimes used for treating diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, alcoholism, obesity, and aids, for preventing stomach and colon cancer; for preventing heart and blood vessel (cardiovascular) disease; for strengthening the immune system; for increasing energy and improving athletic performance. Used medicinally, Rice Bran Oil boosts immunity by facilitating the healing of wounds, enhancing cell regeneration, and increasing the body’s defense against toxins that may enter through the skin.Rice Bran Oil is multi-purpose, ranging from it use in oils, gels, lotions, creams, lip balms, soaps, scrubs, shampoos, and conditioners, most of which you can make yourself.

Expensive. No better than food grade organic rice bran oil.
A really lovely carrier oil that's perfect for mixing your favourite essential oils in. The viscosity is just right and the oil absorbs nicely into the skin rather than just floating on the surface. It feels good as you massage into your skin too. It can be used as a facial cleanser, moisturiser or a massage oil.At £14.98 for 100ml though it's very expensive. I've used organic good quality food grade rice bran oil in the past and it was a fraction of the price for 500ml. I feel the price is out of whack totally. That said it is a lovely carrier oil but I would not pay this price for it.

Fresh and mild carrier oil
This is a great mild and gentle carrier oil to dilute essential oils that you want to apply on your skin or hair, in part, because it mixes so well. It can be used on its own too!It is very hydrating on the skin and non-greasy plus it’s fast-absorbing. It has little or no scent, at least for me. I also found the glass dropper very handy.I have used a number of Greenwood Essential Oils and although might be more expensive, at times, than some others is a quality product and recommend.

works well, not really to my liking, but not bad. used through a diffuser with no issues but had to lighten it with a little drop of water

Many skin and hair benefits
Rice bran oil has numerous skin benefits such as being soothing and hydrating, though I was more interested in the hair benefits. It can help repair damaged hair, and encourage healthy hair growth. My hair is damaged and broken from trichotillomania so this oil has been helpful, in use with a conjunction of other products, to get my hair healthier and smoother again. I massage it into my scalp the night before I wash my hair (as obviously it'll make your hair look greasy) and it's helped my hair feel softer and hopefully helping hair growth too. Some of it got onto my face by accident and it was very tickly and horrible so I think I'll avoid that again!
