I was looking for some kids hockey gloves with all over palm grip and these are brilliant.I ordered the wrong size at first when I chose Mini as they must be adult glove sizing really.I gambled on infant being the right size and they are perfect. They fit nicely and both of my children both commented on how comfortable they are.Will gamble on the next size up when they outgrow them.

Gloves arrived quickly, when I took them out of packet I thought they were a bit lightweight but they fitted fine. The first time I wore them was a cool day and they performed ok, however the lining felt a bit hard and the inner seams on the fingers of the right hand felt rough as if the waterproof lining was protruding through the seam. But these gloves were new so they may soften with time. I haven't assessed the waterproofing yet which was the reason for buying them, so watch this space.

The old saying “if it’s too good to be true, then it ain’t” springs to mind. Like a moth to the flame I get suckered In once again. A tenner for waterproof running gloves is a case in point. I tested these gloves on a trail run in torrential rain and heavy winds. The gloves lasted for 30 minutes until they started leaking seriously through the fingers. They ended up like soggy sponges on my hand. They defied physics by seeming to absorb more water than landed on them. To be fair I had the same with Sealskinz. Two stars as they could be used for gardening or running on a dry day and provided a decent fit. One day I will shell out and find some genuine waterproof running gloves. Maybe!!

My son loves these gloves. They’re perfect firbwgen he plays football and training. Nice and warm and so far his hands have stayed dry when it’s rained. The grip on the palms is great. Perfect gloves for my 8 year old.
