⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve only been using this WINIX air purifier for a few days, but I’m already impressed. I noticed the air felt fresher within the first day. If you’re someone who suffers from allergies, is congested from A/C, dust, pollen, smoke, this is honestly a game changer. It was super easy to set up, runs quietly, and just makes the room feel cleaner. If you’ve been on the fence about getting one, this is your sign you won’t regret it!

I bought this to have in my bedroom to supplement my other air purifier in my living room which is the Winix C545. That one has been great for 3 years of constant use now with zero problems so I thought I’d stick with Winix for my second purifier. I like the look and size of this new one, perfect for a bedroom. Others weren’t lying about how loud it can be (when compared to the C545, it is quite a bit louder, but think about it- it’s a smaller purifier doing the work of a larger purifier). I keep it on low and it’s fine. High setting is definitely loud, but would be great for people who like to sleep with white noise. It’s not loud enough for me to deduct stars from my review. The air indicator ring light is really nice looking and it does change colors based on air quality quickly (candle smoke, fragrance spray, etc, will all make the air quality light change colors and prompt the fan speed to increase if on auto. It works!) I mostly got this one to help with dog smell and so far I can tell a difference with noticeably fresher smelling air when I come home.

This compact Winix air purifier works really well and makes a noticeable difference in air quality. It’s small but powerful, and it runs quietly even on higher settings. I like how quickly it helps reduce dust and odors in the room. It’s also easy to use and maintain. Overall, a great choice for keeping the air clean in smaller spaces.

I bought this one and another brand at the same time, the coway airmega, and this one performs just as well in my opinion. It exchanges air very quickly, which I can tell due to using it while I cook etc. It helps well with smells and it’s pretty quiet. The plasma setting is a little noisy, but I only run that during the day. Overall a good purchase Edit: got to the first filter change and it’s been glitchy ever since. Had a tough time resetting it. Was perfect until now

I bought this air purifier as I have a mid-size bedroom (~120 feet; large enough that many smaller purifiers were not rated for that room size). I was also looking for an air purifier with HEPA filtration for allergies and filter changes that were reasonably priced. The official replacement filters run from about $45-50 depending on where you get them and last around a year (aftermarket filters are available and can be had for significantly cheaper, if you're willing to take your chances on those). Many other smaller air purifiers have filters that last for much shorter lengths of time and/or secondary pre-filters and end up costing more per year to run, so in the long term this filter will save you a little money there. Filter changes and cleanings are easy (you should vacuum or otherwise clean the filter every 2 months to extend its longevity), but the directions were a little unclear about how to orient the filter. Based on what I've found, the solid black side of the filter labeled BOTTOM should face the bottom cover of the machine. Noise levels with the filter are reasonable. The lowest speed on automatic is quite quiet and serves as nice background noise. Medium speed is louder but tolerable. High speed is loud, but it's never kicked on automatically for me. Note that this comes with PlasmaWave, which generates some ozone as a byproduct (though from what I've read, this is well below harmful levels). PlasmaWave can be toggled off. However, by default, whenever you turn the purifier on or wake it from sleep mode, PlasmaWave turns on. I would NOT recommend this model if this is would annoy you, but it's a non-issue for me.

Amazing a cleaning up the air and providing clean air for everyone. It also has automatic mode which is a nice touch.

I purchased this to reduce dust and particles in my bedroom. I was sneezing and coughing quite a bit and it was disrupting my sleep. This unit is quiet-ish with the noise similar to a white noise wind sound...not too loud but no louder than the separate sound machine I was already using. There is no "mechanical" noise from the machine. After about a week, I noticed that I am no longer sneezing or coughing in my bedroom and dust accumulation is minimal compared to before. My sleep is much better as well. My grandson was recently in my room and told me that the room smelled "fresh"...I am very happy with the purchase. I'm tracking how long the filter lasts. and am sure that it's a highly individualized duration. Hopefully, finding filter replacements and the cost will be reasonable.

The air purifier WINIX A230 Air Purifier for Bedroom Up... came last June .. 2025. It met my needs. Cleaned air nicely.. was a great unit for my needs. I have seasonal allergies. ⚠️ however it has quite.. fan made a loud noise and motor quit. I M presently in contact with company. 🥺 The company is replacing this air purifier. Overall customer service and unit are worthy of 5 stars⭐️

This air purifier has made a massive difference to my sinuses and allergies. Keen to get a second one for my home office. This one I have been using in my bedroom.

A friend has the larger Winix model and recommended the brand. I have been using it for almost 2 month and it runs quietly and rotates through the cycles automatically. I moved to a busy road and could feel the dust and diesel fumes, and this purifier certainly refines the air quality. Very pleased with its performance and how it fits into my bedroom. Cute and contained. Plus the seller is absolutely on top of sending you information on extra filters or anything to do with the product.

Highly recommend it if you want something set-and-forget!

I don't usually write reviews, but please, if you are buying this, it is LOUD. We wanted this in our room, but it is too load, even in sleep mode. There is basically no difference between sleep mode and low mode - they make the same amount of noise! However, it does clean the air quite well.
