Both say 1000 mg.....** A: I've been wracking my brain to figure out if there is a difference between Carlson's Super Omega 3 or Elite Omega 3 oils. What I've noticed is on the label if it has 500mg or 600mg it is concentrated, so 1 capsule per serving. If it has 1200mg then 2 capsules per serving. Totally makes no sense. Wish they would clear this up. Because it's an excellent brand with the best qualities, especially the added Vitamin E to stabilize the oil. **Q: What size are these pills; are they a mini size and easy to swallow?** A: The are not mini size. They are 15/16 of an inch long, and about 3/8 of an inch in diameter. They weigh about 2 grams. However, they are very easy to swallow. They are comparatively thick molded gelatin (I assume) capsules with no seams or rough spots. The gelatin rapidly becomes very slippery when you put it in your mouth. They are very smooth and tapered. I take them with a sip of water (or whatever) after letting them sit in my mouth for 15-20 seconds. I have a hard time swallowing some tablets, even smaller ones, because of the rough texture, and the urgency to get them swallowed before they come apart. I find these very easy to swallow, and have no bad aftertaste or other problems. **Q: How many pills = 1,000mg?** A: 1 pill has 1,000 mg, Cheryl.
