Amtra Polychrome - Natural aquarium gravel, decorative soil, sand and white gravel, grains 3-4 mm, 2 KG

I ordered this yesterday (Thursday) after being sent the wrong size elsewhere and it arrived late afternoon (Friday). All of my plants (around 16/17) have just had the compost surface coated with this as it makes the succulent bowls look great and helps to keep down the sciarid flies too.The gravel is the perfect size for the plants, good colour mix and even though I washed it all in a sieve, there was hardly any colouring of the water. Really clean. I'd definitely wash all gravel first before you introduce it to any aquarium though (I always did that as some are absolutely filthy).For the amount of gravel you get in a bag and the price of a bag, it's outstanding quality and price. Good basic gravel ,not expensive ,does the job

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this type of gravel to complement the black and colourful gravel I already had, as I demonstrated in the video.It provided the extra texture I needed and mixed well with the existing coloured gravel.The different sizes of the gravel supported my plants, which I found very beneficial for the smaller plants in their cups.However, I struggled to keep individual plants in place when planting them in the gravel due to its size. Overall, I am satisfied with this product; it offers good value for the money spent.My advice, before purchasing gravel for your aquarium, ensure it meets your needs, especially if you have live plants. My advice to anyone considering buying gravel is to do thorough research before making a decision.With live plants in the aquarium cleaning the gravel is not the easiest job.The quality is heigh and nice mixed grey colours.

This aqua sand and gravel is fantastic! I use it as a component in my mixing medium for my succulents and cacti, and it works beautifully. It provides excellent drainage and helps keep the soil airy, which is so important for healthy roots. The quality is consistent, and the mix looks clean and natural. It’s been a perfect addition to my potting blends, and my plants are definitely thriving with it. Gravel fine which was just what I needed

Bought 3 x 2kg to use as a topper for my houseplants to keep gnats and mold down. I found it to be clean straight out of the bag but gave it a good rinse before using anyway.Pros: nice size and mixture of colours, good quality and good value for money – definitely cheaper than buying dedicated plant topping.Cons: can't think of any.
