The 2.5 gpm flow is really good with this shower head. The water pressure is impressive. I installed, uninstalled, reinstalled 3 different ones, two Delta shower head and this one. One of the Deltas was an expensive one that came with the full valve kit. The other was a stand-alone shower head that was very inexpensive. The cheap Delta had the arm possitioned so high that the lowest it could get was still spraying the back of the shower. The expensive one had abysmal pressure until I removed the flow restrictors. This one needed no modification and it works great. One single flow pattern that is just what you need. Heavy, all metal construction and this is by far the best shower handheld that I have used, ever. I love the design too. Smaller size, clean look. The company video explaining the benefits was also impressive with inside quality components that you don't really think about.

This showerhead system is like falling back into the day before they thought up planned obsolescense long long ago. It is so well made it makes you gasp with the beautifulness of itself. It smoothly fits together, the parts are real heavy metal that just feel great in your hand, the threads work flawlessly. It is a work of art, and the magic of math all thought out to make a really fine product. We also have their filter, and have bought other parts from this company. All perfect, all fantastic. Oh, and as far as the shower itself, wonderful bliss. It isn't full of bells and whistles you find you don't need once you've spent the money. It does one thing, be a great showerhead that gets you clean, and does it with pizzass. Putting it together was so easy that by the time I got there to help the job was done- and not one single swear word . One thing I might note for the weaker armed folks; if you should want to take the shower head down from the wall to rinse the walls of the shower or whatever, it is all metal, it is big, and it might be considered heavy. If they have a smaller, lighter head you may want to consider it for the lesser weight. I might also add that the addition of one of their water filters is a total plus. Gets the chlorine and other gunk out of the water you're cleaning yourself with so that you are actually clean when you're done.

I've had my eyes on this shower head for awhile. I bought another brand locally for the sole reason of easy returns. Got it home and it was so plastic-y feeling that I didn't even try to install; I just returned it. Decided to bite the bullet and order two Hammerheads. After 2 weeks of the boxes sitting on my bathroom vanity, I finally screwed up the courage to install them in my double shower today. To my surprise, no tools at all were needed. All the parts are nicely wrapped in bags. All the threads were even protected with plastic caps to avoid any damage in shipping! Plumbers tape was included. Twisted off the only shower heads. I ran a little water through the pipe and cleaned off all the old tape. Then, installed the first Hammerhead Handheld Shower head according to the simple instructions. LOTS more water pressure than before. I was so happy and went after the other one. To my surprise, I noticed the pipe was almost clogged when I took the old shower head off. Had to dig out a bunch of black gunk with an old toothbrush. Ran some water to finish the clean out and install the new Hammerhead. This one had even better water pressure!!?? Decided to go back to the first one and look at that pipe more closely. Sure enough, it had a little bit of clogging too. Now, I have the best shower head pressure I've ever had. I also checked them very closely for leaks and there were none! All I did was tighten all the connections by hand. Honestly, I don't know if the unclogging of the pipe caused the better water pressure or if it's the shower head. Maybe a combination of both? However, I do like these shower heads more than any other one I've used. The shower head is bigger and lighter than I was expecting. My original concern is that a metal head would break my faux marble if I dropped the head against the shower bench. While the head is very sturdy, I don't think it's heavy enough to do damage. The connection that holds the shower head is solid, heavy metal that I seriously will break. The hose is very nice and plenty long. I saw another review that the shower handle can get hot. I can see where that could happen, but I only hold it when I'm cleaning the shower or washing the dogs with a cooler water. Happy with my purchase and will purchase another one for the other bathroom. My only complaint is that I tried a different brand first and waited so long to install. Don't be me -- buy it and install it immediately. Enjoy your very next shower.

I ended up buying this because of all the great reviews and now I'm writing one because of how great this shower head is. The water pressure is impressive and the shower head is made of really high quality materials. Would definitely recommend it! Very easy to install and will transform your shower in minutes.

Well made high volume shower head that is metal. The chrome finish is nice and the silicone water tips are nice if you have hard water as scales just pops off. It has good pressure (only reason we bought it) for those who like a nice hard shower without stinging your skin, but I wish each drop had a bit more volume. We tried it with the water restrictor in place and with it removed (green restrictor) and actually couldn't tell the difference. I would have given it 5 stars but the angle that their supplied holder to hold the shower wand moves from vertical to about only 30 degrees maximum. You cant angle the shower head down like at a 45 degree angle. I am short so the water sprays above my head and I have to stand a good distance from the wall to not have the water fly over my head. This could be easily solved with a better connector piece with more rotation that holds the hand held shower so you could water aim down for shorter people or for those whose spigot comes out of the wall high up.

10/10 customer service. The showerhead I received was defective and something was rattling around inside. I reached out to support and they responded right away and sent me a replacement with minimal hassle. The replacement one had no issues at all. The construction was all metal, and very sturdy. The water pressure improved significantly compared to my previous plastic showerhead which was crumbling apart and had reached the end of it's useful life. I got the chrome plating which looks very nice with a mirror finish, but it's a little slippery to hold when it's wet, so if I bought it again I would probably get the matte or brushed finish for a little more texture.

It is value but the handle is to behanged on a holder,it is not comfortable,a connector to the shower pipe is required then fantastic item .

I just installed this Hammerhead Chrome METAL shower head/wand/hose and we are finally at peace. - all metal parts, no junky plastic crap, no parts to get worn - price is extremely FAIR. At least half or less than boutique shops - lovely modern aesthetic design - excellent designed water flow - removable water restrictor - amazing flexible and light weight chrome hose (best I've ever seen) - includes clear instructions and plumbers Teflon tape After my wife successively bought and returned 3 various shower head systems this last week from local suppliers at almost the same cost as this Hammerhead, we are finally satisfied. Quality components and likely not to break anytime soon. The others we bought were an INSULT to consumers and families. Even some of the high end bath and decor stores are practicing selling garbage products that can easily break during installation. This shower head package deserves my full gratification via this review. Hats off Hammerhead. BTW...I water flow seems better than ever to me...but I can see that if I wanted to push the envelop, I could easily drill out a wider opening. The design lends itself to doing this easily. I've done this with other setups and they were far more difficult.

Product is overpriced. It does not come with Shower head arm holder due to this it cannot replace the shower head you need to fix it on wall.. Product description and pics are not of the product you will get
